3. Setup
3.1 Initial Charging
Before first use, fully charge the speaker. Connect the provided USB-C charging cable to the DC5V port on the speaker and the other end to a USB power adapter (not included) or a computer's USB port. The charging indicator light will illuminate during charging and turn off when fully charged. A full charge takes approximately 2 hours.
3.2 Powering On/Off
- To Power On: Press and hold the Power button (usually combined with Play/Pause) for a few seconds until you hear an audible prompt or see an indicator light.
- To Power Off: Press and hold the Power button again for a few seconds until you hear an audible prompt or the indicator light turns off.
4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Bluetooth Pairing
- Ensure the speaker is powered on and in Bluetooth pairing mode (indicated by a flashing blue LED, if available). If not, press the 'M' (Mode) button to switch to Bluetooth mode.
- On your device (smartphone, tablet, computer), enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
- Select "Hoco BS47" from the list of found devices.
- Once paired, the speaker will provide an audible confirmation, and the LED indicator will stop flashing and remain solid blue.
- The speaker will automatically connect to the last paired device when powered on, if the device's Bluetooth is active and within range.
4.2 Music Playback
- Play/Pause: Short press the Play/Pause button.
- Next Track: Short press the Volume Up (+) button.
- Previous Track: Short press the Volume Down (-) button.
- Volume Up: Long press the Volume Up (+) button.
- Volume Down: Long press the Volume Down (-) button.
4.3 TF Card Playback
Insert a TF (microSD) card with audio files into the TF card slot. The speaker will automatically switch to TF card mode and begin playing music. Use the same playback controls as for Bluetooth mode.
4.4 FM Radio Mode
- Press the 'M' (Mode) button to switch to FM Radio mode.
- To auto-scan and save available stations, long press the Play/Pause button. The speaker will scan and store stations automatically.
- To switch between saved stations, short press the Volume Up (+) or Volume Down (-) buttons.
4.5 True Wireless Stereo (TWS) Function
The TWS function allows you to pair two Hoco BS47 speakers together for a stereo sound experience. This feature is ideal for a more immersive audio setup.

- Ensure both Hoco BS47 speakers are powered on and not connected to any Bluetooth device.
- On one of the speakers (this will be the primary speaker), long press the Play/Pause button until you hear a prompt indicating TWS pairing mode.
- The two speakers will automatically search for and connect to each other. Once connected, you will hear a confirmation sound.
- Now, connect your device to the primary speaker via Bluetooth as described in section 4.1. Audio will play through both speakers in stereo.
4.6 Call Functions
- Answer Call: Short press the Play/Pause button when an incoming call rings.
- End Call: Short press the Play/Pause button during a call.
- Reject Call: Long press the Play/Pause button when an incoming call rings.
5. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the speaker. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Storage: Store the speaker in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
- Water Resistance: This speaker is not waterproof. Avoid exposing it to water or high humidity.
- Battery Care: To prolong battery life, avoid fully discharging the battery frequently. Charge the speaker regularly, even if not in use for extended periods.
