4. Setup Instructions
Follow these steps for proper assembly. It is recommended to have at least two people for assembly.
- Unpack Components: Lay out all frame poles, connectors, canopy, and side panels on a clean, flat surface. Identify each part according to the assembly diagram (not provided in this text, refer to physical manual if available).
- Assemble the Roof Frame: Connect the shorter poles and corner connectors to form the top square frame of the gazebo. Ensure all connections are firmly pushed together.
- Attach the Canopy: Carefully drape the roof canopy over the assembled roof frame. Ensure the canopy is correctly oriented and the corners align with the frame. Secure the canopy to the frame using any integrated ties or Velcro straps.
- Attach the Legs: Insert the longer leg poles into the corner connectors of the roof frame. Do not fully extend or raise the gazebo yet.
- Raise the Structure: With at least two people, carefully lift the gazebo structure, one leg at a time, until it stands upright. Ensure the legs are fully extended and locked into place if they have adjustable height mechanisms.
- Secure to the Ground: Use the provided guy ropes and ground pegs to secure each leg and corner of the gazebo to the ground. For optimal stability, attach ropes to the top corners and peg them into the ground at an angle, away from the gazebo base.
- Attach Side Panels (Optional): If desired, attach the three side panels using the integrated Velcro fasteners. The panels can be attached or removed individually based on your needs.

5. Operating Instructions
The tectake® gazebo is straightforward to use once assembled.
- Side Panel Management: The three side panels can be easily attached or removed using the Velcro fasteners. This allows you to adjust the level of enclosure and protection from sun, wind, or light rain.
- Stability: Always ensure the gazebo is securely anchored with all ropes and pegs, especially if it will be left unattended for any period.
- Disassembly: To disassemble, reverse the assembly steps. Ensure all components are clean and dry before packing away to prevent mold or damage.

6. Maintenance and Care
- Cleaning: Clean the canopy and side panels with a damp cloth and mild soap. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners, as this may damage the fabric or its waterproof coating. Rinse thoroughly and allow to air dry completely before storage.
- Frame Care: Wipe down the steel frame with a damp cloth to remove dirt. Inspect the frame for any signs of rust or damage.
- Storage: Store the gazebo in a dry, cool place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Ensure all components are completely dry before folding and storing to prevent mold and mildew.
- Inspection: Periodically inspect all poles, connectors, fabric, ropes, and pegs for wear, tear, or damage. Replace any damaged parts immediately to ensure safe operation.
7. Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Gazebo is unstable or wobbly. | Insufficient anchoring; uneven ground; loose connections. | Ensure all ropes and pegs are securely fastened. Move to a level surface. Check all frame connections are tight. Consider using additional weights. |
| Water pooling on the canopy. | Canopy not taut enough; incorrect assembly. | Ensure the canopy is stretched tightly over the frame. Recheck assembly steps to ensure poles are correctly positioned. |
| Side panels do not attach properly. | Velcro fasteners misaligned or dirty. | Clean Velcro fasteners. Ensure panels are correctly oriented and aligned with the frame. |
| Frame poles do not fit together. | Incorrect pole combination; debris in connectors. | Refer to the assembly diagram to ensure correct poles are used. Clear any debris from inside the pole ends or connectors. |
