Setup and Installation
The AFX Haley LED Undercabinet Light can be installed via direct wire or plug-in method (power cord and connecting cables sold separately).
Tools Required:
- Screwdriver (Phillips and/or Flathead)
- Wire Strippers (for direct wire installation)
- Drill (if pre-drilling pilot holes for mounting screws)
- Measuring Tape

Installation Steps:
- Prepare for Installation: Turn off power at the main circuit breaker. Clear the installation area under the cabinet.
- Position the Fixture: Hold the undercabinet light in the desired mounting location. Mark the positions for the captive mounting screws.
- Mount the Fixture: Secure the fixture to the underside of the cabinet using the captive mounting screws. Ensure the fixture is firmly attached.
- Wiring (Direct Wire):
- Open the rear access plate for easy wiring.
- Connect the household wiring to the fixture's wires (Black to Black, White to White, Ground to Ground) using appropriate wire connectors.
- Securely close the rear access plate.
- Wiring (Plug-in):
- If using a power cord (sold separately), connect it to the designated port on the fixture.
- Plug the power cord into a suitable electrical outlet.
- Linkable Installation: If linking multiple units, use connecting cables (sold separately) to connect them end-to-end or via jumper cables. Ensure the total wattage does not exceed 200W.
- Restore Power: Once installation is complete and all connections are secure, restore power at the circuit breaker.

Brightness Control (Hi/Low Switch):
The fixture includes a built-in switch to adjust the light output. Toggle the switch to select between high brightness and low brightness settings.
Color Temperature Selection (4 CCT Switch):
A separate switch allows you to select from four different Correlated Color Temperatures (CCTs). This enables you to customize the white light output to match your preference or existing lighting. Cycle through the switch positions to find the desired CCT.
Maintenance
The AFX Haley LED Undercabinet Light requires minimal maintenance.
- Cleaning: Ensure the power is off before cleaning. Use a soft, dry, or slightly damp cloth to wipe the exterior of the fixture. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents, as these may damage the finish or diffuser.
- LEDs: The integrated LED light source is designed for long life and does not require replacement.
