Product Overview
The Hoco HC8 Bluetooth Speaker features 360° surround sound, 11 atmosphere light modes (including 2 music-sync modes), and multiple playback options. Familiarize yourself with the speaker's components.

Setup
Charging the Speaker
Before first use, fully charge the speaker. Connect the supplied Type-C charging cable to the speaker's charging port and the other end to a USB power adapter (not included). The charging time is approximately 2.5 hours.
Powering On/Off
- To power on: Press and hold the Power button until you hear an audible prompt.
- To power off: Press and hold the Power button again until the speaker shuts down.
Operating Instructions
Bluetooth Pairing
- Ensure the speaker is powered on and in Bluetooth pairing mode (indicated by a flashing LED).
- On your device (smartphone, tablet, etc.), enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
- Select "Hoco HC8" from the list of devices.
- Once paired, the speaker will provide an audible confirmation.
The transmission distance for Bluetooth is up to 10 meters.
Playback Modes
The Hoco HC8 supports multiple playback modes:
- Bluetooth (BT): Wireless audio streaming from a paired device.
- FM Radio: Tune into FM radio stations.
- TF Card: Play audio files directly from a TF (microSD) card inserted into the speaker's slot.
- USB Flash Drive: Play audio files from a USB flash drive inserted into the USB port.
- TWS (True Wireless Stereo): Connect two Hoco HC8 speakers for a stereo sound experience. (Refer to TWS pairing instructions below).
- AUX: Connect an external audio device using a 3.5mm audio cable (not included) to the AUX input.
Controlling Music Playback
- Play/Pause: Short press the Play/Pause button.
- Volume Up: Short press the Volume + button.
- Volume Down: Short press the Volume - button.
- Next Track: Long press the Volume + button.
- Previous Track: Long press the Volume - button.
Light Modes
The speaker features 11 LED atmosphere light modes. Two of these modes follow the rhythm of the music. Press the Light Mode button (often indicated by a light bulb icon) to cycle through the available light effects.

TWS (True Wireless Stereo) Pairing
To pair two Hoco HC8 speakers for TWS stereo sound:
- Ensure both speakers are powered on and not connected to any other Bluetooth device.
- On one speaker, long press the TWS button (refer to speaker button layout if available).
- The speakers will automatically search and pair with each other. An audible prompt will confirm successful pairing.
- Once TWS paired, connect your device to one of the speakers via Bluetooth. Audio will now play through both speakers in stereo.
Maintenance
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the speaker. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Storage: Store the speaker in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
- Battery Care: To prolong battery life, charge the speaker regularly, even if not in use for extended periods. Avoid fully discharging the battery frequently.
- Water Resistance: The product is indicated as waterproof. However, avoid submerging it in water or exposing it to heavy rain for prolonged periods. Ensure charging port covers are securely closed.
Troubleshooting
