5. Setup Instructions
- Insert Shank: Slide the solid shank of the hitch into your vehicle's 2-inch receiver tube. Ensure it is fully inserted until the pin holes align.
- Secure Shank: Insert the provided hitch pin through the aligned holes in the receiver and the hitch shank. Secure it with the clip. For added security, use one of the anti-theft locks provided.
- Attach Ball Mount: Slide the dual-ball mount into the vertical channel of the hitch shank.
- Adjust Height: Position the ball mount at the desired height to ensure your trailer is level when connected. Align the pin holes.
- Install Anti-Rattle System: Place the metal pad and rubber silencer pads between the ball mount and the hitch shank, as well as between the shank and the receiver, to fill any gaps. Use the Alen wrench to tighten the built-in compression screw on the hitch body. This presses against the shank, reducing movement and rattling.
- Lock Ball Mount: Insert the second anti-theft lock through the ball mount and hitch shank to secure the height adjustment.

6. Operating Instructions
- Select Ball Size: Choose the appropriate ball size (2'' or 2-5/16'') on the dual-ball mount that matches your trailer's coupler.
- Connect Trailer: Carefully back your vehicle up to the trailer. Lower the trailer coupler onto the selected hitch ball. Ensure the coupler is fully seated and locked onto the ball.
- Secure Safety Chains: Attach the trailer's safety chains to your vehicle's hitch chain loops. Cross the chains under the coupler to create a cradle in case of detachment.
- Connect Wiring: Plug in the trailer's electrical connector to your vehicle's receptacle. Test all trailer lights (running lights, brake lights, turn signals).
- Final Check: Before driving, double-check all connections: hitch pin, ball mount lock, coupler latch, safety chains, and electrical wiring. Ensure the trailer is level and within the hitch's weight capacity (15,000 lbs GTW).

7. Maintenance
- Regular Inspection: Periodically inspect the hitch for any signs of wear, cracks, bends, or corrosion, especially before and after long trips.
- Cleanliness: Keep the hitch clean from dirt, mud, and road salt. Wash with mild soap and water, then dry thoroughly.
- Lubrication: Apply a thin layer of grease to the hitch balls and the inside of the receiver tube to prevent rust and ensure smooth operation.
- Anti-Rattle System: Check the condition of the rubber and metal pads. Replace them if they show significant wear or damage. Ensure the compression screw is adequately tightened to prevent rattling.
- Lock Maintenance: Lubricate the lock mechanisms periodically with a graphite-based lubricant to ensure smooth operation and prevent seizing.
8. Troubleshooting
- Hitch Rattling: If you experience excessive rattling, ensure the anti-rattle pads are correctly installed and the compression screw is tightened using the Alen wrench. Check for any loose components.
- Difficulty Inserting/Removing Shank: Ensure the receiver tube is clean and free of debris or rust. Apply a small amount of grease to the shank before insertion.
- Locks Sticking: If the anti-theft locks are difficult to operate, apply a small amount of graphite lubricant into the keyhole and work the key in and out several times.
- Trailer Not Level: Adjust the height of the ball mount within the hitch shank to achieve a level towing position for your specific trailer and vehicle combination.
