4. Setup

4.1 Unpacking and Included Components

Carefully remove the generator and all components from the packaging. Inspect for any shipping damage. If damage is found, contact customer service immediately.

4.2 Adding Engine Oil

  1. Place the generator on a level surface.
  2. Locate the oil fill cap/dipstick.
  3. Using the provided funnel, carefully pour the recommended engine oil (e.g., 10W-30 or 10W-40) into the oil reservoir. The capacity is approximately 0.4 quarts.
  4. Do not overfill. Check the oil level using the dipstick; it should be at the upper limit.
  5. Securely replace the oil fill cap/dipstick.

4.3 Adding Fuel

  1. Ensure the generator is turned off and cool.
  2. Use fresh, unleaded gasoline with an octane rating of 87 or higher.
  3. Open the fuel tank cap.
  4. Carefully pour gasoline into the fuel tank, filling it to just below the filler neck. The tank capacity is 0.7 gallons.
  5. Securely close the fuel tank cap.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Starting the Generator

  1. Place the generator on a firm, level surface outdoors, away from any structures, windows, or vents.
  2. Ensure the fuel valve is in the 'ON' position.
  3. Move the engine switch to the 'ON' position.
  4. If the engine is cold, move the choke lever to the 'CHOKE' position.
  5. Firmly pull the recoil starter handle until the engine starts.
  6. Once the engine starts, gradually move the choke lever to the 'RUN' position.
