Setup
Follow these steps for initial setup of your Crosley Sloane system.
- Unpack Components: Carefully remove all items from the packaging. Retain packaging for future transport or storage.
- Positioning: Place the main turntable unit and speakers on a stable, level surface. Ensure adequate space for ventilation and speaker placement.
- Connect Speakers: Connect the included stereo speakers to the RCA output jacks on the rear of the main turntable unit. Match the red plug to the red jack (right channel) and the white/black plug to the white/black jack (left channel).
- Connect Power: Insert the DC plug of the power adapter into the DC IN jack on the rear of the unit. Plug the AC adapter into a suitable wall outlet.
- Dust Cover: Place the clear dust cover onto the hinges at the back of the turntable unit.
Operating Instructions
Turntable Operation
- Power On: Press the Power/Mode button to turn on the unit.
- Select Mode: Press the Mode button repeatedly until the display shows 'PHONO'.
- Place Record: Place a record on the turntable platter. If playing a 7-inch record with a large center hole, place the 45 RPM adapter on the center spindle first.
- Select Speed: Set the speed selector switch to the correct speed for your record (33 1/3, 45, or 78 RPM).
- Start Playback: Gently lift the tonearm and move it over the desired track on the record. Lower the tonearm slowly onto the record. The platter will begin to spin.
- Adjust Volume: Use the Volume knob to adjust the listening level.
- Auto-Stop: The turntable features an auto-stop function that will stop the platter from spinning when the record finishes.
Bluetooth Operation
