  • This product is designed for installation on wood studs, solid concrete, or brick walls. Do not install on drywall alone.
  • Ensure the mounting surface can safely support the combined weight of the equipment and all attached hardware and components.
  • Always use an assistant for lifting and positioning the TV.
  • Tighten screws firmly but do not overtighten. Overtightening can damage the screws, reducing their holding power.
  • This product contains small items that could be a choking hazard if swallowed. Keep these items away from children.
  • Check that the VESA pattern, weight, and size of your TV are within the specified limits of this mount before purchase and installation.

3. Package Contents

Before starting the installation, please verify that all parts are included and undamaged. If any parts are missing or damaged, do not attempt to install. Contact Alphamount customer service for assistance.

4. Setup and Installation

Proper installation is crucial for the safety and stability of your TV. Follow these steps carefully. It is highly recommended to have an assistant during installation.

4.1. Pre-Installation Checks

  • TV Compatibility: Verify your TV's size (37-75 inches), weight (max 45 kg), and VESA pattern (200x100mm to 600x400mm).
  • Wall Type: Identify your wall type. This mount is suitable for wood studs (16"/12" spacing), solid concrete, and brick walls.
  • Tools Required: Gather necessary tools such as a drill, stud finder (for wood studs), level, tape measure, pencil, and a Phillips head screwdriver.

4.2. Attaching TV Brackets to TV

  1. Carefully place your TV face-down on a soft, clean surface to prevent scratches.
  2. Identify the correct screws, washers, and spacers from the hardware kit that fit your TV's VESA mounting holes.
  3. Attach the two TV brackets to the back of your TV using the selected hardware. Ensure the brackets are centered and securely fastened. The hooks on the brackets should face upwards.

4.3. Mounting the Wall Plate

  1. Determine the desired height for your TV. Mark the center of the desired location on the wall.
  2. Use a stud finder to locate wood studs if installing on a wood stud wall. Mark the edges of the studs.
  3. Position the drilling template at the marked location, ensuring it is level using the included spirit level. Mark the drill hole locations.
  4. Drill pilot holes according to the marked locations and your wall type (specific drill bit sizes and depths are in the detailed manual).
  5. For concrete/brick walls, insert the wall anchors into the drilled holes.
  6. Align the wall plate with the drilled holes and secure it to the wall using the appropriate lag screws (for wood studs) or concrete anchors and bolts (for concrete/brick). Ensure the wall plate is firmly attached and level.

4.4. Hanging the TV

  1. With an assistant, carefully lift the TV with the attached brackets.
  2. Hook the TV brackets onto the wall plate. Ensure the TV is securely seated on the wall plate.
  3. Locate the safety screws or locking mechanisms on the bottom of the TV brackets. Tighten these to secure the TV to the wall plate and prevent accidental dislodging.

5. Operating and Adjusting Your TV Mount

Once installed, your Alphamount TV mount offers various adjustments to achieve the perfect viewing angle.

  • Swivel: Gently push or pull the TV to the desired left or right angle (up to +/-45°).
  • Tilt: Loosen the tilt knobs on the TV brackets, adjust the TV to the desired upward (+5°) or downward (-15°) tilt, then re-tighten the knobs.
  • Extension/Retraction: Pull the TV away from the wall to extend the arms, or push it back towards the wall to retract.
  • Leveling: If your TV is not perfectly level after installation, you can adjust it by +/-3°. Refer to the detailed manual for specific instructions on how to use the leveling screws on the mount.
  • Cable Management: Use the provided hook and loop cable ties to neatly route and secure cables along the articulating arms of the mount. This helps maintain a clean appearance and prevents cable damage.

6. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and safe operation of your TV mount.

  • Cleaning: Dust the mount regularly with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents, as they may damage the finish.
  • Periodic Checks: Every few months, check all screws and connections to ensure they remain tight and secure. Re-tighten if necessary, but do not overtighten.
  • Movement Check: Periodically move the mount through its full range of motion to ensure smooth operation.

7. Troubleshooting

If you encounter any issues during or after installation, refer to the following common problems and solutions.
