Important Safety Instructions

To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, or injury, always follow these basic safety precautions:

  • Read all instructions before using this fan.
  • Ensure the voltage indicated on the rating label matches your mains supply voltage.
  • Do not operate any fan with a damaged cord or plug. If the cord or plug is damaged, contact qualified service personnel for repair or replacement.
  • Do not run the power cord under carpeting. Do not cover the cord with throw rugs, runners, or similar coverings. Arrange the cord away from traffic areas where it will not be tripped over.
  • To disconnect the fan, turn controls to the OFF position, then remove the plug from the outlet.
  • Do not insert or allow foreign objects to enter any ventilation or exhaust opening as this may cause an electric shock or fire, or damage the fan.
  • Do not block air openings or operate near curtains or other materials that could block airflow.
  • This fan is intended for household use only and not for commercial or industrial applications.
  • Always place the fan on a stable, flat surface to prevent it from tipping over. The fan features a strong resistance base for stability.
  • Do not use the fan in wet or damp locations, such as bathrooms or laundry areas.
  • Unplug the fan from the outlet when not in use, when moving it from one location to another, and before cleaning.

Operating Instructions

Your Belaco Table Fan is designed for ease of use. Follow these steps to operate your fan:

  1. Placement: Place the fan on a stable, flat surface. Ensure it is not too close to walls or furniture that could obstruct airflow.
  2. Power Connection: Plug the fan into a standard 220-240V, 50Hz electrical outlet. The fan is equipped with a 3-pin UK plug.
  3. Adjusting Fan Speed:

The fan features three speed settings. Use the control buttons located on the fan base to select your desired speed:

    • Speed 1: Low speed for gentle airflow.
    • Speed 2: Medium speed for moderate airflow.
    • Speed 3: High speed for maximum airflow.

Press the corresponding button to activate the speed. Press the '0' or 'OFF' button to turn the fan off.

  4. Oscillation Function:

To activate the oscillation (side-to-side movement) function, pull up the oscillation knob located on top of the motor housing. The fan will oscillate approximately 85 degrees, distributing air across a wider area.

To stop oscillation and direct airflow in a fixed direction, push down the oscillation knob. A slight click may be heard when the fan resets its direction during oscillation, which is normal operation.

  5. Adjusting Tilt Angle:

The fan head can be tilted up or down by approximately 30 degrees. Gently push or pull the fan head to adjust it to your preferred vertical angle. This allows you to direct the airflow precisely where needed.

  • Grille and Blades: Dust may accumulate on the grilles and blades over time. To clean, carefully remove the front grille (refer to assembly instructions in reverse). Wipe the blades and grilles with a soft, dry or slightly damp cloth. Ensure all parts are completely dry before reassembling and operating the fan.
  • Storage: When not in use for extended periods, store the fan in a cool, dry place, preferably in its original packaging, to protect it from dust and damage.
