5. Setup

5.1 Physical Installation

  1. Choose a suitable location for your camera, ensuring it has a clear view of the area you wish to monitor.
  2. Attach the mounting base to the desired surface (e.g., ceiling or wall) using the provided screws and rubber plugs.
  3. Align the camera with the mounting base and twist to secure it in place using the install support clasps.

5.2 Power Connection

Connect the USB cable to the camera's power interface and then plug the power adapter into a standard electrical outlet.

5.3 Network Connection (Wi-Fi)

The camera supports IEEE802.11B/G/N protocol and has a built-in AP hotspot for initial setup.

  1. Download the dedicated mobile application (refer to the QR code or app store link provided in the separate quick start guide).
  2. Register an account and log in.
  3. Follow the in-app instructions to add your camera. This typically involves connecting your phone to the camera's temporary Wi-Fi hotspot, then configuring the camera to connect to your home Wi-Fi network.

5.4 TF Card Installation (Optional)

To enable local video recording, insert a MicroSD (TF) card (up to 64GB) into the TF card storage slot. Ensure the camera is powered off before inserting or removing the card.

6. Operating Instructions

Once set up, you can control and monitor your camera using the mobile application.

6.1 Live View

Open the app and select your camera to view the live 360-degree panoramic feed. You can pan and zoom within the panoramic view using touch gestures on your screen.

6.2 Two-Way Audio

The camera features a built-in microphone and speaker. In the live view, tap the microphone icon to speak through the camera, and listen to audio from the camera's location.

6.3 Motion Detection and Alarms

The camera can detect motion and send real-time alerts to your mobile phone. Configure motion detection sensitivity and notification settings within the app.

6.4 Night Vision

Equipped with infrared LEDs, the camera automatically switches to night vision mode in low-light conditions, providing clear black and white images up to 10 meters.

6.5 Video Playback and Recording

If a TF card is installed, the camera will record video continuously or upon motion detection. You can access recorded footage and play it back directly from the app. The camera supports loop recording, overwriting the oldest files when the card is full.

  • Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the camera lens and body. Do not use liquid cleaners or abrasive materials.
