Package Contents
Your Intex Dura-Beam Extra Raised Airbed package includes:
- 1 x Intex Dura-Beam Extra Raised Airbed with Built-in Electric Pump
- 1 x Carry Bag
Setup & Inflation
- Unpack: Remove the airbed from its carry bag and unroll it on a clean, level surface free of sharp objects.
- Locate the Pump: Find the built-in electric pump on the side of the airbed. Open the cord storage holder.
- Plug In: Plug the power cord into a standard electrical outlet (110-120V).
- Inflate: Turn the pump knob clockwise to the "INFLATE" position. The airbed will begin to inflate.
- Monitor Inflation: Allow 3 to 5 minutes for full inflation. The pump should not operate continuously for more than 4 minutes. If continuous operation is needed, allow the pump to rest for 15 minutes between two full inflating cycles to prevent overheating.
- Adjust Firmness: Once fully inflated, turn the knob counter-clockwise to "OFF". You can adjust the firmness by adding or releasing small amounts of air.
- Store Cord: Unplug the cord from the outlet and place it back into the cord storage holder, then close the cover.

Deflation & Storage
- Prepare for Deflation: Ensure nothing is on top of the airbed.
- Plug In: Take out the cord from its storage compartment and plug it into a power source.
- Deflate: Turn the pump knob counter-clockwise to the "DEFLATE" position. The airbed will begin to deflate.
- Assist Deflation: To remove all remaining air, you may gently roll the airbed from the opposite end towards the pump.
- Store: Once fully deflated, turn the knob to "OFF", unplug the cord, store it, and fold the airbed neatly. Place it in the provided carry bag.

- Velvety Surface: The soft, flocked top surface enhances comfort and helps to keep bedding in place.
- Edge Support: The edge banded outer perimeter offers additional stability and support across the entire sleeping area.
- Fiber-Tech Construction: Internal Fiber-Tech construction provides improved durability and support, ensuring a stable and comfortable sleep experience.

Maintenance
- Cleaning: Spot clean the airbed with a damp cloth and mild soap. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
- Drying: Ensure the airbed is completely dry before folding and storing to prevent mold or mildew.
- Storage: Store the airbed in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
- Avoid Sharp Objects: Always inspect the area where the airbed will be placed for any sharp objects that could cause punctures.
Troubleshooting
Airbed Appears to Be Leaking
It is common for new airbeds to appear to lose air during the first few uses. This is typically due to the material stretching, not a leak. The material will stretch and settle over the first 2-3 nights of use. Simply re-inflate the bed as needed until it reaches its desired firmness and the material has fully settled.

Figure 6: Explanation of material stretch, which can be misinterpreted as air leakage.
Punctures
In the event of an actual puncture, use a repair patch (not included in product details, but often provided with airbeds or available separately) to seal the hole. Clean the area around the puncture, apply the patch firmly, and allow it to cure for at least 20 minutes before re-inflating.
