Getting Started
1. Battery Installation
- Locate the battery compartment on the bottom of the camera.
- Slide the battery door latch to open the compartment.
- Insert the Lithium Ion battery, ensuring the contacts align correctly.
- Close the battery door firmly until it clicks into place.
2. MicroSD Card Installation
A MicroSD card (not included) is required to store photos and videos. A Class 10 U3 or higher speed rating is recommended for optimal performance.
- Open the side port cover of the camera.
- Insert the MicroSD card into the slot with the contacts facing the front of the camera until it clicks.
- To remove, gently push the card until it springs out.
3. Charging the Battery
- Connect the USB charging cable to the camera's USB port.
- Connect the other end of the cable to a USB power adapter (5V/1A recommended) or a computer's USB port.
- The charging indicator light will illuminate during charging and turn off when fully charged.
Operating Your Camera
Power On/Off
- Power On: Press and hold the Power/Mode button for 3 seconds.
- Power Off: Press and hold the Power/Mode button for 3 seconds.
Mode Switching
Press the Power/Mode button repeatedly to cycle through different modes: Video, Photo, Playback, and Settings.
Video Recording
- Switch to Video mode.
- Press the Shutter/OK button to start recording. A red indicator light will flash.
- Press the Shutter/OK button again to stop recording.
- To change video resolution (e.g., 5K, 4K, 1080p), navigate to the Video Settings menu.
Photo Capture
- Switch to Photo mode.
- Press the Shutter/OK button to take a photo.
- Explore photo modes like Single Shot, Burst, and Timer in the Photo Settings menu.
Playback
- Switch to Playback mode.
- Use the Up/Down buttons or touch screen to navigate through your recorded videos and photos.
- Press the Shutter/OK button to play a video or view a photo in full screen.
Settings Menu Navigation
From any mode, press the Power/Mode button until you reach the Settings icon. Use the touch screen or navigation buttons to select and adjust various camera settings, including resolution, stabilization, diving mode, wind noise reduction, date/time, and more.
Waterproof Usage (Diving Mode)
- Always ensure the camera is securely placed inside the waterproof case and the seal is clean and intact before any water activity.
- Activate "Diving Mode" in the settings for optimized color balance in underwater environments.
- After use in saltwater, rinse the waterproof case with fresh water and allow it to air dry.
