Maintenance
Water Resistance
The DW-H5600 Series is water-resistant to 200 meters. This makes it suitable for swimming, showering, and snorkeling. Avoid operating buttons underwater to prevent water ingress.
Shock Resistance
As a G-Shock watch, it is built to withstand significant impacts. However, extreme shocks can still cause damage. Handle with reasonable care.
Cleaning
Regularly clean your watch with a soft, damp cloth. For resin bands and cases, mild soap and water can be used. Ensure the watch is completely dry before wearing. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
Battery Care
To maintain the solar-assisted battery, ensure the watch is exposed to light periodically. If the battery level is low, place the watch in a well-lit area. Avoid prolonged storage in dark places.
Troubleshooting
Screen Readability
In low-light conditions, the negative LCD display may be difficult to read. Press the LIGHT button (right-top) to activate the Super Illuminator LED backlight for improved visibility.
