2. Safety Information

Please read all safety instructions carefully before use. Failure to follow these instructions may result in fire, electric shock, injury, or damage to property.

• Do not disassemble, open, or shred battery cells or batteries.
• Do not expose batteries to heat or fire. Avoid storage in direct sunlight.
• Do not short-circuit a battery. Do not store batteries haphazardly in a box or drawer where they may short-circuit each other or be short-circuited by other metal objects.
• Do not remove a battery from its original packaging until required for use.
• Do not subject batteries to mechanical shock.
• In the event of a battery leaking, do not allow the liquid to come into contact with the skin or eyes. If contact has been made, wash the affected area with copious amounts of water and seek medical advice.
• Do not use any charger other than that specifically provided for use with the equipment.
• Observe the plus (+) and minus (-) marks on the battery and equipment and ensure correct use.

5. Setup

Before first use, it is recommended to fully charge the batteries.

1. Locate the USB-C charging port on the side of each battery.
2. Connect the provided 2-in-1 USB-C charging cable to the battery's USB-C port.
3. Connect the other end of the USB-C cable to a compatible USB power source (e.g., computer USB port, wall adapter, power bank, car charger).
4. The LED indicator on the battery will flash green during charging. Once fully charged, the LED indicator will turn solid green.

6.1. Charging the Batteries

The HW D Cell Batteries feature an integrated USB-C charging port for direct charging.

• Use the included 2-in-1 USB-C cable or any standard USB-C cable.
• Connect the battery to a USB power source.
• A flashing green LED indicates charging in progress.
• A solid green LED indicates the battery is fully charged.
• Charging typically takes about 3 hours for a full charge.

6.2. Using the Batteries in Devices

These batteries are compatible with various devices that require D-size batteries.

1. Ensure the battery is fully charged.
2. Open the battery compartment of your device.
3. Insert the HW D Cell Battery, ensuring correct polarity (+ and - terminals match the device's markings).
4. Close the battery compartment.
5. The battery will provide a stable 1.5V output to power your device.
