4. Setup
4.1 Battery Installation
- Ensure the 4.0Ah battery is fully charged using the provided fast charger.
- Align the battery with the base of the sprayer handle and slide it in until it clicks securely into place.
4.2 Paint Preparation
Proper paint thinning is crucial for optimal spray performance and to prevent clogging. Use the included funnel and viscosity meter to achieve the correct consistency.

Figure 4: Correct paint mixing ratios for various paint types, indicating required diluent percentages and flow times with a DIN Viscosity Cup No. 4.
- Consult the paint manufacturer's instructions for recommended thinning ratios.
- Pour a small amount of paint into the viscosity meter. Note the time it takes for the paint to flow completely through the funnel.
- If the flow time is too long, add a small amount of appropriate diluent (water for water-based paints, mineral spirits for oil-based paints) and mix thoroughly. Re-test until the desired viscosity is achieved.
4.3 Nozzle Selection and Assembly
The sprayer includes three copper nozzles (1.0mm, 1.8mm, 2.5mm) for different materials and finishes.

Figure 5: Three different size nozzles (1.0mm, 1.8mm, 2.5mm) for sealers/varnish, stains/polyurethane, and latex/chalk/milk type paints.

Figure 6: Detailed view of how to insert and secure the chosen nozzle into the sprayer head.
- 1.0mm Nozzle: Ideal for sealers and varnish.
- 1.8mm Nozzle: Suitable for stains and polyurethane.
- 2.5mm Nozzle: Best for latex paint, chalk paint, or milk type paint.
- Unscrew the nozzle cap from the sprayer head.
- Insert the desired nozzle into the sprayer head.
- Securely screw the nozzle cap back onto the sprayer head.
5. Operating Instructions
Before starting your project, practice on a scrap piece of material to familiarize yourself with the spray patterns and flow control.

Figure 7: Three adjustable spray patterns (horizontal, circular, vertical) and controls for spray length and volume.
5.1 Adjusting Spray Pattern
- Rotate the air cap to select one of three spray patterns:
- Horizontal: For vertical surfaces.
- Vertical: For horizontal surfaces.
- Circular: For small areas or corners.
5.2 Flow Control
- The flow control knob on the trigger allows you to adjust the paint output. Turn clockwise for more paint, counter-clockwise for less.
- Start with a lower flow setting and gradually increase until you achieve smooth, even coverage without runs or excessive overspray.
5.3 Spraying Technique
- Hold the sprayer approximately 6-8 inches from the surface.
- Move the sprayer in smooth, even strokes, overlapping each pass by about 50%.
- Avoid tilting the sprayer excessively, especially when the paint container is low, to ensure consistent paint pickup.

6. Maintenance & Cleaning
Thorough cleaning after each use is essential to prolong the life of your paint sprayer and ensure consistent performance.

Figure 8: Four-step visual guide to easily clean the paint sprayer components after use, including detaching the container, rinsing, and using the cleaning needle.
- Disconnect the battery from the sprayer.
- Unscrew the paint container and empty any remaining paint.
- Detach the spray head assembly from the motor unit by pressing the release button and twisting.
- Disassemble the spray head: remove the nozzle cap, air cap, and nozzle.
- Clean all disassembled parts with warm soapy water for water-based paints, or appropriate cleaning solution for oil-based paints. Use the provided cleaning brush and needle to clear any paint residue from the nozzle and internal passages.
- Rinse all parts thoroughly with clean water.
- Allow all components to dry completely before reassembling.
- TIP: Clean the nozzle with the needle immediately after use to prevent clogging.

7. Troubleshooting
Refer to the table below for common issues and their solutions:
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| No spray or weak spray | Clogged nozzle; Insufficient paint thinning; Low battery; Suction tube blocked. | Clean nozzle with needle; Adjust paint viscosity; Recharge battery; Clear suction tube. |
| Uneven spray pattern | Incorrect spray pattern setting; Nozzle partially clogged; Inconsistent sprayer movement. | Adjust air cap; Clean nozzle; Maintain consistent distance and speed. |
| Paint runs or drips | Paint too thin; Too much paint flow; Sprayer too close to surface; Slow sprayer movement. | Thicken paint slightly; Reduce flow control; Increase distance; Move sprayer faster. |
| Excessive overspray | Paint too thin; Too much paint flow; Sprayer too far from surface; High air pressure. | Thicken paint slightly; Reduce flow control; Decrease distance; Adjust air pressure if applicable. |
