Introduction

This instruction manual provides detailed guidance for the assembly, operation, and maintenance of your TEMI Indoor Basketball Hoop. Designed for both kids and adults, this mini basketball hoop features an electronic scoreboard, LED lights, a breakaway rim, and comes with four mini basketballs and a pump. Setup Instructions

  1. Assemble the Rim and Scoreboard: Attach the steel rim to the designated area on the backboard using the provided screws and nuts. Ensure all connections are secure.

  2. Attach the Net: Securely attach the basketball net to the hooks on the steel rim.
  3. Install Door Hooks: Attach the two door hooks to the top of the backboard using the provided screws. These hooks are designed to fit most standard doors.
  4. Apply Corner Pads: Place the four shock-proof sponge corner pads on the back of the backboard's corners. These pads protect your door from scratches and reduce noise during play.

  5. Hang on Door: Carefully hang the assembled basketball hoop over the top of any standard door. Ensure it is stable and securely positioned.
  6. Inflate Basketballs: Use the included air pump to inflate the four mini basketballs to the recommended pressure.

Operating Instructions

Electronic Scoreboard and LED Lights

The integrated electronic scoreboard automatically tracks your score and features LED lights that illuminate upon scoring. It requires 3x AA batteries (not included).

  • Power On/Off: Locate the power switch on the scoreboard unit to turn it on or off.
  • Scoring Modes: The scoreboard offers two scoring modes:
    • Push the switch to the left for a 60-second countdown: 2 points for the first 45 seconds, 3 points for the last 15 seconds.
    • Push the switch to the right for a 5-second countdown.
  • Automatic Scoring: Each successful shot through the hoop will be digitally calculated and displayed automatically, accompanied by cheering sounds.

Breakaway Rim Feature

The hoop features a breakaway rim design, allowing it to flex up to 60 degrees. This provides a realistic basketball experience and helps prevent damage during enthusiastic play. The spring mechanism will automatically return the rim to its original position after a dunk.

Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Wipe the backboard and rim with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners that may scratch the surface.
  • Ball Inflation: Periodically check the inflation of the mini basketballs and re-inflate using the provided pump as needed.
  • Battery Replacement: Replace the AA batteries in the scoreboard unit when the LED lights dim or the scoring function becomes inconsistent.
  • Storage: The steel rim has a foldable design. When not in use, the rim can be folded up to save space.

Troubleshooting
