4. Setup Guide

4.1 Initial Charging

Before first use, it is recommended to fully charge the scanner. Connect the provided USB cable to the scanner's square USB port and plug the other end into a power source (e.g., computer USB port or USB wall adapter). A full charge typically takes approximately 2 hours.

4.2 Connecting the Scanner

The LENVII CW200 offers two connection methods:

4.2.1 2.4G Wireless Connection

1. Insert the 2.4G USB receiver (dongle) into an available USB port on your computer or laptop.
2. Turn on the barcode scanner. The scanner is pre-paired with the receiver from the factory.
3. The scanner should automatically connect to the receiver. A successful connection is usually indicated by an audible beep and/or a change in indicator light status on the scanner.
4. Open a text editor or any application where you wish to input scanned data to test the connection. Scan any barcode to confirm data transmission.

4.2.2 USB Wired Connection

1. Connect one end of the provided USB cable to the square USB port on the scanner.
2. Connect the other end of the USB cable to an available USB port on your computer or laptop.
3. The scanner will be recognized as a keyboard device. No additional drivers are typically required.
4. Open a text editor or any application where you wish to input scanned data to test the connection. Scan any barcode to confirm data transmission.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Basic Scanning Operation

1. Ensure the scanner is powered on and connected to your device (via wireless dongle or USB cable).
2. Point the scanner's window at the barcode you wish to scan.
3. Press the trigger button. A red scanning line or light will appear.
4. Position the scanner so the red line crosses the entire barcode.
5. Upon successful scan, the scanner will emit a beep, and the data will be transmitted to your connected device.

5.2 Data Upload Modes

The LENVII CW200 supports two primary data upload modes:

5.2.1 Instant Upload Mode

In this mode, scanned barcode data is immediately transmitted to your connected computer or device. This is the default mode and is suitable for real-time data entry.

5.2.2 Storage Mode

Storage mode allows you to scan and store barcodes internally within the scanner's memory without being connected to a host device. This is useful for inventory taking or scanning in areas where a computer is not readily available. The scanner can store up to 50,000 barcode entries.

6. Maintenance

6.1 Cleaning the Scanner
