Inserting the SIM Card
Locate the SIM tray on the side of your device. Use the provided SIM tray ejector tool to open the tray. Place your Nano-SIM card into the tray with the gold contacts facing down. Gently push the tray back into the device until it clicks into place. The device also supports eSIM functionality.
Powering On/Off
- To power on: Press and hold the Power button (located on the side) until the Motorola logo appears.
- To power off: Press and hold the Power button, then tap 'Power off' on the screen.
Initial Setup Wizard
Upon first power-on, follow the on-screen instructions to complete the initial setup. This includes selecting your language, connecting to a Wi-Fi network, and signing in with your Google Account.

Operating Your Device
Using the External Display
The external display allows you to interact with your phone without fully opening it. Swipe left or right to access widgets for time, weather, notifications, and quick settings. You can also use it as a viewfinder for the main camera to take high-quality selfies.

Flex View Functionality
Partially fold your Razr+ to activate Flex View. This mode is ideal for video calls, watching content, or taking photos and videos hands-free. The screen content will adapt to the folded position, allowing for versatile usage.
Gestures and Quick Actions
Your device supports various gestures for quick access to features:
- Quick Capture: Twist your wrist twice to open the camera.
- Fast Flashlight: Shake your phone twice to turn the flashlight on or off.
- Three-finger Screenshot: Touch and hold the screen with three fingers to take a screenshot.
Data Transfer
Transferring data from your old device to your new Motorola Razr+ 2023 can be done wirelessly or with a wired connection.
Wireless Data Transfer (Android)
Follow these steps to transfer data wirelessly from an old Android device:
- On your new Razr+, during setup, select the option to copy apps & data.
- Choose to copy without a cable.
- On your old Android device, open the Google app and say or type "Set up my device".

For a faster transfer, use a wired connection with the included USB-C cable:
- On your new Razr+, during setup, select the option to copy apps & data.
- Connect the included USB-C to USB-C cable to both your old Android device and your new Razr+.
- Follow the on-screen prompts to connect and transfer your data.

Wireless Data Transfer (iPhone)
To transfer data wirelessly from an iPhone:
- On your new Razr+, during setup, select the option to copy apps & data.
- Choose to copy without a cable.
- On your iPhone, open the Google app and say or type "Set up my device".
- Follow the on-screen prompts to connect and transfer your data.

Wired Data Transfer (iPhone)
For a wired transfer from an iPhone:
- On your new Razr+, during setup, select the option to copy apps & data.
- Connect the included USB-C to USB-C cable to your Razr+ and a Lightning to USB-C cable (not included) to your iPhone.
- Follow the on-screen prompts to connect and transfer your data.

Maintenance
General Care
- Avoid applying excessive pressure to the foldable screen.
- Keep the device away from sharp objects to prevent screen damage.
- The device is water resistant, but avoid intentional submersion in water.
Cleaning
Use a soft, lint-free cloth to clean the screen and body of the device. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
Troubleshooting
Common Issues
- Screen Crease: A crease in the foldable screen is a normal characteristic of the technology.
- Battery Drain: If experiencing rapid battery drain, check background app usage and adjust power-saving settings.

Factory Reset
