Safety Information

Setup

Pre-Installation

1. Unroll the LED strip lights and lay them flat to prevent tangling.
2. Clean the desired installation surface thoroughly. Ensure it is dry and free of dust or oil.
3. Test the lights before permanent installation by connecting all components.

Installation Steps

1. Connect the LED Strips: If using both 50ft rolls, connect them to the control box. Ensure the arrows on the connectors align.
2. Connect Power: Plug the power adapter into the control box.
3. Remove Adhesive Backing: Carefully peel off the protective film from the back of the LED strip.
4. Adhere the Strips: Press the strip firmly onto the clean surface. For corners, bend the strip gently or use corner connectors (not included) if available.
5. Secure the Control Box: Place the control box in an accessible location, ensuring the IR receiver (if using remote) is not obstructed.

App Control Setup (Bluetooth)

1. Download the App: Scan the QR code on the white controller box or visit http://app.ks-keepsmile.com/scanApp to download the "Keepsmile" app.
2. Enable Bluetooth: Turn on Bluetooth on your smartphone.
3. Open the App: The app should automatically detect and connect to the LED strip lights. If not, refresh the device list within the app.

Remote Control Setup

1. Activate Remote: Remove the clear plastic tab from the battery compartment of the remote control.
2. Point and Control: Point the remote directly at the IR receiver on the control box for optimal response.

• Color Selection: Choose from 16 million colors via the app's color wheel or select preset colors using the remote.
