5. Operating Instructions
5.1 General Operation
- Before starting, ensure the area is clear of obstructions and bystanders.
- Hold the tool firmly with both hands when possible, especially when using the pole extension.
- To activate the pruner, engage the double-switch safety system (typically a safety button and a trigger).
- Position the blades around the branch to be cut. The maximum cutting diameter is approximately 1.2 inches (25mm).
- Press the trigger to close the blades and make the cut. Release the trigger to open the blades.
- Avoid forcing the blades through thick branches. If the tool struggles, reposition or consider a different cutting method.

5.2 Using the Extension Pole
The extension pole allows for a maximum reach of up to 13 feet (based on a 6 ft user holding the pole at shoulder level, 60 degrees from the ground).
- Adjust the length of the extension pole as needed. Ensure all locking collars are tightened before use.
- The pruner head features 7 adjustable cutting angles. To adjust, press the angle adjustment button and rotate the head to the desired position (-50°, -22.5°, 0°, 22.5°, 45°, 67.5°, 90°). Release the button to lock the angle.
- Maintain a stable stance and good balance when operating the pole pruner. Be aware of the tool's weight distribution, especially when fully extended.
- Avoid cutting branches directly overhead.
