Operating Instructions

HDMI Output

The HDMI port supports resolutions up to 4K (3840x2160) at 60Hz. Ensure your display and HDMI cable support these specifications for optimal performance.

  1. Connect the hub to your host device.
  2. Connect an HDMI cable from the hub to your external display.
  3. Your operating system should automatically detect the external display. You may need to adjust display settings (e.g., mirror, extend) in your device's system preferences.

USB Data Transfer

The hub features two USB 3.0 Type-A ports and one USB-C data port, all supporting data transfer speeds up to 5Gbps.

  1. Connect your USB devices (e.g., flash drives, external SSDs, keyboards, mice) to the available USB-A or USB-C data ports on the hub.
  2. Your host device will recognize the connected peripherals.

2.5G Ethernet Connection

The 2.5G Ethernet port provides a stable and high-speed wired network connection, ideal for large file transfers or online gaming.

  1. Connect an Ethernet cable from your network router or modem to the 2.5G Ethernet port on the hub.
  2. Ensure the hub is connected to your host device.

Power Delivery (PD) Charging

The USB-C PD port supports up to 100W power input, allowing you to charge your host device while simultaneously using other hub functions. The actual power output to your device will be less than 100W due to power consumption by the hub itself.

  1. Connect a USB-C power adapter (not included) to the PD port on the hub.
  2. Ensure the hub's integrated USB-C cable is connected to your host device.
  3. Your host device will begin charging.

Troubleshooting

  • No Video Output:
    • Ensure your host device's USB-C port supports DisplayPort Alt Mode.
    • Verify the HDMI cable is securely connected to both the hub and the display.
    • Try a different HDMI cable or display.
    • Restart your host device.
  • No Power Delivery/Charging:
    • Ensure your host device's USB-C port supports Power Delivery.
    • Verify your USB-C power adapter is connected to the hub's PD port and is functioning correctly.
    • Check if the power adapter provides sufficient wattage for your device and the hub.
  • USB Devices Not Recognized:
    • Ensure the hub is securely connected to your host device.
    • Try connecting the USB device directly to your host device to confirm it works.
    • If using high-power USB devices, ensure the hub is connected to an external power source via its PD port.
  • Ethernet Connection Issues:
    • Verify the Ethernet cable is securely connected to both the hub and your router/modem.
    • Check your network settings on your host device.
    • Ensure your router/modem is functioning correctly.
  • Intermittent Connectivity:
    • Ensure all connections are firm.
    • Disconnect and reconnect the hub from your host device.
    • If possible, try connecting the hub to a different USB-C port on your host device.
    • Some wireless devices (e.g., 2.4GHz wireless mice/keyboards) may experience interference when placed too close to USB 3.0 ports. Try moving them further away or using a USB extension cable.
