Setup Instructions

1. Unpacking: Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Retain packaging for future transport or storage.
2. Speaker Connection: Connect the two external stereo speakers to the RCA SPEAKER outputs on the rear of the main unit using the provided speaker cables. Ensure correct polarity (red to red, white to white).
3. Power Connection: Plug the power adapter into the DC IN port on the rear of the unit, then plug the adapter into a standard wall outlet.
4. Dust Cover: The unit comes with a hinged dust cover to protect the turntable. Ensure it is properly seated.

Operating Instructions

General Operation

• Power On/Off: Turn the VOLUME knob clockwise to power on the unit. Turn counter-clockwise to power off.
• Mode Selection: Press the MODE button on the control panel or remote control to cycle through available functions: PHONO (Turntable), CD, USB, SD, TAPE, AUX, BT (Bluetooth), AM, FM.
• Volume Control: Adjust the VOLUME knob to your desired listening level.

Turntable Operation (PHONO Mode)

1. Lift the dust cover.
2. Place a vinyl record on the turntable platter.
3. Select the appropriate speed (33 1/3, 45, or 78 RPM) using the speed selector switch located on the turntable deck. For 45 RPM records, place the included 45 RPM adapter on the center spindle.
4. Release the tonearm lock.
5. Gently lift the tonearm using the cue lever and position it over the desired track on the record.
6. Lower the tonearm slowly onto the record using the cue lever. Playback will begin.
7. At the end of the record, the tonearm will automatically return to its rest position if the AUTO STOP function is enabled. To enable/disable AUTO STOP, use the switch near the tonearm.
8. When finished, gently lift the tonearm, return it to its rest, and secure the tonearm lock.

CD Player Operation

1. Press the MODE button to select CD mode.
2. Press the OPEN/CLOSE button to open the CD tray.
3. Place a CD with the label side facing up into the tray.
4. Press the OPEN/CLOSE button again to close the tray. The unit will read the disc.
5. Use the PLAY/PAUSE, NEXT, and PREVIOUS buttons for playback control.

Cassette Player Operation

1. Press the MODE button to select TAPE mode.
2. Insert a cassette tape into the cassette slot on the side of the unit.
3. Use the playback controls (PLAY, STOP, FAST FORWARD, REWIND) for cassette operation.

USB/SD Playback

1. Insert a USB flash drive into the USB port or an SD/MMC card into the SD/MMC card slot.
2. Press the MODE button to select USB or SD mode. The unit will automatically detect and begin playing compatible audio files.
3. Use the PLAY/PAUSE, NEXT, and PREVIOUS buttons for playback control.

Bluetooth Connection (BT Mode)

1. Press the MODE button to select BT (Bluetooth) mode. The display will show "BT" and the unit will enter pairing mode.
2. Enable Bluetooth on your external device (e.g., smartphone, tablet) and search for available devices.
3. Select "JORLAI" from the list of devices to pair. Once connected, you will hear a confirmation sound.
4. You can now stream audio from your device to the record player.

AM/FM Radio Operation

1. Press the MODE button to select AM or FM radio mode.
2. Use the TUNING knob to manually scan for radio stations.
3. For FM reception, extend the FM wire antenna located at the back of the unit. For AM reception, rotate the unit for best signal.

Aux-in and RCA Line Out

• Aux-in: Connect an external audio device (e.g., MP3 player) to the 3.5mm AUX IN jack on the front panel using an audio cable. Select AUX mode to play audio from the connected device.
• RCA Line Out: Use the RCA LINE OUT jacks on the rear of the unit to connect to an external amplifier or powered speakers for enhanced audio output.

Recording Function (Encoding)

The unit supports recording from vinyl, CD, cassette, or Aux-in directly to a USB drive or SD card.

1. Insert a USB drive or SD card into the respective slot.
2. Select the desired source mode (PHONO, CD, TAPE, or AUX).
3. Begin playback of the source audio.
4. Press the REC button on the control panel. The unit will begin recording the audio to the USB drive or SD card.
5. Press the REC button again to stop recording.

Maintenance

• Cleaning: Wipe the unit with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
• Stylus Care: Handle the stylus gently. Clean it periodically with a soft brush designed for stylus cleaning. Replace the stylus when sound quality deteriorates.
• Dust Cover: Keep the dust cover closed when not in use to prevent dust accumulation on the turntable.
