Important Safety Instructions

Setup

1. Unpacking: Carefully remove the air cooler and all accessories from the packaging. Retain packaging for future storage or transport.
2. Placement: Place the air cooler on a firm, level surface in the desired location. Ensure there is adequate space around the unit for proper airflow. The unit is portable and can be easily moved thanks to its integrated wheels.
3. Filling the Water Tank: Pull out the water tank from the bottom rear of the unit. Fill the tank with clean, cool water up to the 'MAX' level indicator. The tank has a 4-liter capacity. For enhanced cooling, you may add the included ice packs to the water tank after filling.
4. Inserting Ice Packs: For optimal cooling performance, place the two included ice packs in your freezer for several hours until completely frozen. Once frozen, place them directly into the water tank along with the water.
5. Power Connection: Insert the 3-pin British plug into a standard 220-240V, 50Hz power outlet.

Operating Instructions

The Belaco Air Cooler can be operated using the digital control panel on top of the unit or the included remote control.

Control Panel & Remote Functions:

• On/Off Button: Press to turn the unit on or off.
• Speed Button: Cycle through 3 fan speeds: Low, Medium, and High.
• Mode Button: Select operating modes: Normal, Natural (simulates natural wind), and Sleep. The unit also functions as a Humidifier, Ventilator, and Ioniser.
• Cool Button: Activates the evaporative cooling function. Ensure the water tank is filled.
• Swing Button: Activates the automatic 60-degree left-to-right oscillation. The vertical louvers can be adjusted manually.
• Timer Button: Set the operating timer for 30 minutes, 1 hour, 2 hours, 4 hours, or 8 hours. The unit will automatically turn off after the set time.

Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity of your air cooler.

Cleaning the Exterior:

Wipe the exterior surfaces with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.

Cleaning the Water Tank:

The water tank should be cleaned regularly, especially if the unit is not used daily. Unplug the unit, remove the water tank, and empty any remaining water. Clean the tank with a mild detergent and rinse thoroughly with clean water. Allow it to air dry before reinserting.

Cleaning the Detachable Filter / Honeycomb Cooling Pad:

The air cooler features a detachable filter and honeycomb cooling pad at the rear. This pad binds dirt and helps cool and humidify the air. To clean:

1. Unplug the unit.
2. Carefully remove the rear panel and slide out the honeycomb cooling pad.
3. Rinse the pad under running water to remove dust and debris. For deeper cleaning, soak it in a mild detergent solution for a few minutes, then rinse thoroughly.
4. Allow the pad to dry completely before reinserting it into the unit.
