Setup
Battery Installation
The RC car and remote control require AA batteries (not included). Rechargeable AA batteries are recommended for extended use and convenience.
- For the RC Car: Locate the battery compartment on the underside of the car. Open the cover and insert 3 x AA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-). Close the battery compartment securely.
- For the Remote Control: Locate the battery compartment on the back of the remote control. Open the cover and insert 2 x AA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-). Close the battery compartment securely.
Remote Control Pairing
The car and remote control are pre-paired from the factory. If pairing is lost or you are using multiple RASTAR RC cars, follow these steps:
- Ensure both the car and remote control have fresh batteries installed.
- Turn on the RC car using the ON/OFF switch.
- Turn on the remote control. The indicator light on the remote should blink and then become solid, indicating successful pairing.
- If pairing fails, turn off both devices, wait a few seconds, and repeat the process.
Operating Instructions
Controls
The dual-grip remote control allows for intuitive operation:
- Forward/Backward: Use the designated buttons or triggers to move the car forward or backward.
- Turn Left/Right: Use the directional buttons to steer the car left or right.
Driving Surfaces
The Ferrari F1-75 RC car is designed for optimal performance on smooth, flat surfaces. This includes:
- Pavement
- Hardwood floors
- Low-pile carpet
Avoid driving on rough terrain, sand, or high-pile carpets, as this can impede movement and potentially damage the car's undercarriage or wheels.

Performance
- Speed: The car can reach a maximum speed of 5 mph.
- Remote Range: The remote control has a range of up to 98 feet.
- Frequency: Operates on a 2.4GHz frequency, allowing multiple cars to race simultaneously without interference.
Steering Alignment Adjustment
If the car does not drive straight, you can adjust the steering alignment. Locate the alignment adjustment knob on the underside of the car, near the front wheels. Turn the knob slightly left or right until the car tracks straight when moving forward.
Maintenance
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe down the car and remote control. Avoid using water or chemical cleaners, as they can damage electronic components.
- Battery Care: Remove batteries from both the car and remote control when not in use for extended periods to prevent leakage and corrosion.
- Storage: Store the RC car and remote control in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
