4. Setup and Assembly
Assembly typically takes approximately 15 minutes. Follow these steps carefully:
- Assemble the Base:
- Insert the five legs into the central star-shaped piece of the metal base.
- Secure each leg with two short screws.
- Press the casters into the holes at the end of each base leg.
- Insert the gas lift into the center hole of the assembled base.
- Attach the Seat Mechanism:
- Align the seat mechanism to the underside of the seat cushion, ensuring the "FRONT" label on the mechanism faces the front of the seat.
- Attach the mechanism using four bolts and tighten with the provided wrench.
- Connect Seat to Base:
- Turn the seat upright and align the center hole of the seat plate with the gas lift. Push the seat down firmly until the connection is secure.
- Attach Armrests:
- Attach the armrests to the seat using two bolts on each side. The bolts only need to be screwed in 50% at this stage.
- Attach Backrest:
- Slide the backrest onto the armrests and screw it onto one side.
- Cap all screw holes with the provided plugs.
- Flip the chair over to the other side and insert the final screws and plugs.
- Final Tightening:
- Rotate the back of the chair up, then secure it with the bolts. Adjust the balance on each side of the chair and fully tighten all bolts.
