Setup and Installation

Unpacking

Carefully remove all packaging materials. Inspect the appliance for any shipping damage. Report any damage to your retailer immediately.

Placement

The SMETA JC-95E-US wine cooler can be installed as a freestanding unit or under a counter. Ensure adequate ventilation around the unit. Maintain a minimum of 2 inches (5 cm) of space at the back and sides for proper air circulation.

Leveling

The appliance must be level for optimal performance. Adjust the front leveling legs by turning them clockwise to raise or counter-clockwise to lower the unit. Use a spirit level to ensure stability.

Electrical Connection

Connect the appliance to a dedicated 110 Volt, 60 Hz grounded electrical outlet. Do not use extension cords or adapter plugs. Ensure the power cord is not pinched or damaged.

Initial Cleaning

Before first use, clean the interior and exterior of the wine cooler with a mild detergent and warm water. Wipe dry thoroughly.

Operation

Control Panel

The wine cooler features a smart digital touch control panel located on the top front of the unit. This panel allows you to adjust temperature, switch temperature units, and control the interior light.

Temperature Setting

The adjustable temperature range is 40°F to 64°F (4°C to 18°C). Use the up and down arrows on the control panel to set your desired temperature. The display will show the current internal temperature.

Temperature Unit Switch

Press the '°C/°F' button to toggle between Celsius and Fahrenheit temperature displays.

Interior Lighting

Press the 'Light' button to turn the soft LED interior light on or off. This light gently illuminates your wine collection without affecting its quality.

Air Circulation System

The wine cooler is equipped with built-in fans that circulate air to ensure an even and stable temperature throughout the cabinet, cooling each bottle uniformly.

UV Protection and Insulation

Maintenance

Cleaning the Interior

Unplug the appliance before cleaning. Use a soft cloth with a solution of warm water and mild detergent. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents. Rinse thoroughly and wipe dry.

Cleaning the Exterior

Clean the exterior surfaces with a soft cloth and mild detergent. For stainless steel surfaces, use a non-abrasive stainless steel cleaner. Ensure no water enters the control panel area.

Defrosting

This wine cooler features a frost-free defrost system, eliminating the need for manual defrosting. Any accumulated frost will melt automatically and evaporate.

Power Disconnection

If the appliance will not be used for an extended period, unplug it, clean it thoroughly, and leave the door slightly ajar to prevent odors and mold growth.

Troubleshooting
