2. Battery Installation
Locate the battery compartment on the back of the timer. Open the cover and insert two AA alkaline batteries (not included), ensuring correct polarity. Close the battery cover securely to maintain the waterproof seal.

3. Attaching the Timer to Faucet
Thread the brass inlet of the timer onto your outdoor faucet. Hand-tighten until secure. Use the provided PTFE tape on the faucet threads for a leak-proof connection. Ensure the timer is vertically aligned for optimal performance.

Operating Instructions
1. Setting the Clock
Turn the dial to 'SET CLOCK'. Use the '+' and '-' buttons to adjust the current time. Press 'OK' to confirm and move to the next setting.
2. Programming Automatic Watering
The timer supports up to 38 programs across its two zones. Each zone (Zone 1 and Zone 2) can have its own customized watering frequency, start time, and duration.
- Set Start Time: Turn the dial to 'START TIME'. Select Zone 1 or Zone 2 using the 'ZONE' button. Use '+' and '-' to set the desired start time for watering. Press 'OK'.
- Set How Long: Turn the dial to 'HOW LONG'. Select the zone. Use '+' and '-' to set the watering duration from 1 minute to 3 hours 59 minutes. Press 'OK'.
- Set How Often: Turn the dial to 'HOW OFTEN'. Select the zone. Use '+' and '-' to set the frequency (e.g., every 1-12 hours, or every 1-7 days). Press 'OK'.

3. Manual Watering Mode
The timer offers three separate manual/auto modes: Zone 1, Zone 2, or Both Zones. To activate manual watering, turn the dial to 'ON'. Press and hold the 'OK/MANUAL' button until 'MANUAL' appears on the display. Use the 'ZONE' button to select the desired zone(s). The manual watering time can be set from 1 minute to 8 hours.

4. Rain Delay Function
To temporarily pause watering due to rain, turn the dial to 'ON'. Press the 'DELAY +' button. Each press will increase the delay by 24 hours, up to 72 hours. The timer will resume its programmed schedule after the delay period ends.

Maintenance
1. Low Battery Alert
When the battery level drops below 5%, a low-battery alert will appear on the display. The valve will automatically shut off to prevent water leakage. Replace batteries promptly to ensure continuous operation.
2. Cleaning the Filter
Periodically check the filter screen located in the brass inlet for debris. Remove the timer from the faucet, carefully pull out the filter, rinse it under running water, and reinsert it. This helps maintain optimal water flow and prevents clogging.
3. Winterization
Before the first frost, disconnect the timer from the faucet and hoses. Drain any remaining water from the unit. Store the timer indoors in a dry, frost-free location to prevent damage from freezing temperatures.
