4. Setup

4.1 Charging the Earbuds and Case

Before first use, fully charge the earbuds and charging case. Place the earbuds into the charging case and close the lid. Connect the charging case to a power source using a USB Type-C cable.

  • A full charge provides up to 28 hours of total playback time with the charging case.
  • The earbuds support fast charging: 10 minutes of charge provides approximately 1 hour of playtime.

4.2 Pairing with a Device

  1. Ensure the earbuds are in the charging case and the case has sufficient battery.
  2. Open the charging case. The indicator light on the case will flash, indicating the earbuds are in pairing mode.
  3. On your device (smartphone, tablet, laptop), go to Bluetooth settings and turn on Bluetooth.
  4. Search for available devices and select "OPPO Enco Air2i" from the list.
  5. Once connected, the indicator light will turn off, and you will hear a confirmation tone.

The earbuds feature Bluetooth 5.2 for a stable and efficient connection.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Touch Controls

The OPPO Enco Air2i earbuds feature intuitive touch controls on each earbud. The touch-sensitive area is located on the upper part of the earbud stem.

  • Double Tap: Play/Pause music, Answer/Hang up calls, Take a photo (when camera control is enabled).
  • Triple Tap: Previous track.
  • Touch and Hold (Left Earbud for 1s): Volume down.
  • Touch and Hold (Right Earbud for 1s): Volume up.
  • Touch and Hold (Both Earbuds for 4s, when wearing): Enter pairing mode.

5.2 Calls and Music Playback

After pairing, you can use your earbuds for calls and music. The AI Deep Noise Cancellation feature helps ensure clear calls even in noisy environments.

5.3 Game Mode

Activate Game Mode for ultra-low latency, providing a smoother and more synchronized audio experience during gaming.

6. Maintenance

6.1 Cleaning

  • Regularly clean the earbuds, ear tips, and charging contacts with a soft, dry, lint-free cloth.
  • Do not use abrasive cleaners, alcohol, or chemical solvents.
  • Ensure no moisture enters the openings.

6.2 Storage

  • Always store the earbuds in their charging case when not in use to protect them and keep them charged.
  • Store in a cool, dry place away from extreme temperatures.

6.3 Water Resistance

The earbuds are IPX4 water resistant, meaning they are protected against splashing water from any direction. This makes them suitable for workouts or light rain, but they are not designed for swimming or showering. Do not submerge the earbuds in water.

7. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your OPPO Enco Air2i earbuds, try the following solutions:

  • Earbuds not pairing:
    Ensure the earbuds are charged and in pairing mode (indicator light flashing). Turn off and on Bluetooth on your device. Try forgetting the device in your Bluetooth settings and re-pairing.
  • No sound from one earbud:
    Place both earbuds back into the charging case, close the lid, wait a few seconds, then open it again. Check if both earbuds are charged.
  • Charging issues:
    Ensure the charging cable and adapter are working correctly. Clean the charging contacts on both the earbuds and the case.
  • Low volume or poor sound quality:
    Adjust the volume on your device. Ensure the ear tips are properly sealed in your ear canal. Clean any debris from the earbud nozzles.
  • Earbuds frequently disconnect:
    Ensure you are within the Bluetooth range of your device. Avoid environments with strong electromagnetic interference.
