Setup

The UGREEN USB Hub is designed for plug-and-play functionality, requiring no additional drivers or software for most operating systems.

Connecting the Hub

  1. Locate an available USB-A port on your host device (laptop, desktop, PS5, Xbox Series, etc.).
  2. Insert the integrated USB-A cable of the UGREEN USB Hub into the available USB-A port on your host device.
  3. The hub is now ready for use.

Optional: Connecting Auxiliary Power

For power-hungry devices such as Hard Disk Drives (HDDs) or Solid-State Drives (SSDs), auxiliary power can be supplied to the hub for more stable data transfers.

  1. Obtain a standard 5V USB-C power adapter (not included).
  2. Connect the USB-C power adapter to the USB-C Power Input Port on the UGREEN USB Hub.
  3. Note: This USB-C port is for power input only and does not support data transfer or charging of the host device.

Operating Instructions

Once connected, the UGREEN USB Hub allows you to expand your device's USB connectivity for various peripherals.

Data Transfer

The hub provides one USB-C data port and three USB-A data ports, all supporting data transfer speeds up to 5Gbps (USB 3.0 SuperSpeed).

  1. Connect your USB peripherals (e.g., flash drives, external hard drives, keyboards, mice, card readers) to the available USB-C or USB-A data ports on the hub.
  2. Your host device will recognize the connected peripherals automatically.
  3. Data transfer will commence at speeds up to 5Gbps, which is 10 times faster than USB 2.0 (480 Mbps).
