5. Setup
Follow these steps to set up your video digitizer:
- Charge the Device: Connect the TX-182 to the power adapter using the USB cable and plug it into a power outlet. The battery indicator on the screen will show charging status.
- Insert MicroSD Card: Open the TF card slot cover on the side of the device and insert a MicroSD card (up to 32GB, not included) with the contacts facing down until it clicks into place.
- Connect Analog Source: Use the RCA composite cable to connect your analog video source (e.g., VCR, camcorder, DVD player) to the IN-V (yellow), IN-L (white), and IN-R (red) ports on the top of the TX-182. Ensure the colors match.
- (Optional) Connect to Display: If you wish to monitor the video on a larger screen, connect an HDMI cable from the HDMI OUT port on the TX-182 to your TV or monitor, or use an AV cable from the AV OUT port.

6. Operating Instructions
6.1 Power On/Off
- To power on, press and hold the MENU button for a few seconds.
- To power off, press and hold the MENU button again until the device shuts down.
6.2 Recording Video
- Ensure your analog video source is connected and powered on.
- Turn on the TX-182. The display should show the live video feed from your analog source.
- Start playback on your analog video source (e.g., press play on your VCR).
- On the TX-182, press the REC button to begin recording. A recording indicator will appear on the screen.
- Monitor the recording on the TX-182's screen or an external display.
- To stop recording, press the REC button again. The recording will be saved to the MicroSD card.
- Note: The device automatically splits recordings into new files after approximately 90 minutes.
6.3 Playback
- Press the MODE button to switch to playback mode.
- Use the Left/Right directional buttons to navigate through your recorded video files.
- Press the OK button to play the selected video.
- Use the directional buttons for fast forward, rewind, and pause during playback.
- Adjust the volume using the VOL+ and VOL- buttons.
