4. Setup and Installation

The Brandmotion 9002-3010 system can be installed on either the front or rear of your vehicle. It is compatible with both steel and plastic bumpers. Professional installation is highly recommended. DIY installation typically takes 180-240 minutes, while professional installation is estimated at 120-180 minutes.

4.1 Sensor Mounting

  • Plastic Bumpers: Sensors are designed for rear tape-in mounting.
  • Metal Bumpers: Sensors are designed for front drill-in mounting.
  • Consult an automotive paint technician if you wish to customize the sensor color.

4.2 Wiring Connections

  1. Connect the 4' Sensor Harness from the body harness to the driver side sensor.
  2. Connect the 5' Switch Cable to the Electronic Control Unit (ECU).
  3. Connect the 5' Speaker Cable to the ECU.
  4. Connect the 8' Body Harness from the ECU to the vehicle's power source and other necessary connections.
  5. Connect the 8' Display Extension Cable to the LED Display Unit and the ECU.

5. Operating Instructions

Once installed, the parking sensor system provides visual and audible feedback to assist with parking maneuvers.

5.1 LED Display Unit
