3. Setup and Installation

3.2 Sensor Battery Installation
The door/window sensors come with batteries included, but an insulation sheet must be removed before first use. To replace the battery, follow these steps:
- Push the back panel of the sensor downward to remove it.
- Remove the insulation sheet or the old battery and install a new 12V battery (type 23A).
- Push the back panel upward to complete the installation.

3.3 App Configuration (Tuya Smart / Smart Life)
Before configuring the network, ensure your phone is connected to a 2.4 GHz WiFi network, Bluetooth is enabled, and Location Services are authorized for the Tuya Smart App.

3.4 Pairing Sensors and Remotes
3.4.1 Pairing with Standalone Speaker
- Unplug and plug the power cord of the standalone speaker three times to put it into pairing mode.
- Trigger the door sensor (open/close) within 6 seconds to pair.
- Unplug and replug the power cord to exit pairing mode.

3.4.2 Pairing with WiFi Speaker via SET button
- Press the SET button on the WiFi speaker to put it into pairing mode.
- Trigger the door sensor (open/close) within 20 seconds to pair.

3.4.3 Adding Accessories via App
To add additional sensors or remote controls through the Tuya App:
- Open the Tuya App and navigate to the 'Accessories' section.

- Trigger the detector (e.g., open a door sensor, activate a motion sensor) or press a button on the remote control. The app will confirm successful addition.

3.5 Setting Detector Zone Modes
Each detector can be assigned a specific zone mode to determine how the WiFi Alarm Hub responds when triggered. The table below outlines the different modes:

4. Operation
- Arming: Use the Tuya App or the remote control to set the system to 'Away Arm' (all sensors monitored) or 'Home Arm' (perimeter sensors monitored).
- Disarming: Use the Tuya App or the remote control to disarm the system.
- Notifications: Receive real-time alerts on your smartphone when an alarm is triggered.
- Scheduled Arm/Disarm: Configure automatic arming and disarming times through the Tuya App.
5. Troubleshooting
- No App Connection: Ensure your WiFi network is 2.4 GHz. This system is not compatible with 5G networks. Verify Bluetooth and Location Services are enabled and authorized for the app.
- Sensors Not Pairing: Ensure the insulation sheet is removed from the sensor battery. Follow the pairing instructions carefully, ensuring the speaker is in pairing mode and the sensor is triggered within the specified time.
- False Alarms: Check sensor placement and ensure they are securely mounted. Avoid installing door contacts on metal doors, as this can interfere with operation.
- Remote Control Issues: Verify the remote control battery is functional. Ensure the remote is paired correctly with the system.
