The MI Xiaomi Robot Vacuum-Mop 2i is an intelligent cleaning device designed to simplify your home maintenance. It combines powerful vacuuming with efficient mopping, offering a comprehensive cleaning solution. Equipped with advanced sensors and smart control features, it navigates your home with precision, ensuring thorough cleaning of various surfaces.

• Obstacle Crossing & Low Profile Design: The vacuum-mop can easily cross obstacles up to 20mm in height. Its slim 81.3mm height allows it to clean under furniture like beds, cabinets, and sofas, reaching hidden dust without getting stuck.

4. Setup and Installation

4.1 Initial Charging

Before first use, fully charge the robot vacuum-mop. Place the charging dock against a wall in an open area with at least 0.5 meters of clear space on both sides and 1.5 meters in front. Connect the power cord to the charging dock and plug it into a power outlet. Place the robot on the charging dock, ensuring the charging contacts align. The indicator light will show charging status.

4.2 Attaching Brushes and Mop Pad

Ensure the side brush is securely attached. If using the mopping function, dampen the mop pad and attach it to the water tank. Slide the water tank assembly into the designated slot at the rear of the robot until it clicks into place.

4.3 Filling the Water Tank

Open the water tank cover, fill it with clean water, and close the cover securely. Do not use cleaning solutions or detergents in the water tank as they may clog the system.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Power On/Off

• Power On: Press and hold the power button on the robot until the indicator lights up.
• Power Off: Press and hold the power button until the indicator turns off.

5.2 Using the Xiaomi Home App

For full functionality, download the Xiaomi Home app from your device's app store and connect your robot vacuum-mop. The app allows for advanced control and monitoring:

• Remote Control: Manually steer the robot using virtual joystick controls.
• Mode Switch: Select desired cleaning modes (Vacuum, Mop, Vacuum & Mop) and adjust water levels.
• Scheduled Cleanup: Set specific times for the robot to automatically start cleaning.
• Cleaning Status Check: Monitor the robot's real-time location, cleaning progress, and battery level.

5.3 Voice Control

Integrate your robot vacuum-mop with Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant for convenient voice commands. Follow the instructions in the Xiaomi Home app to link your device to your preferred voice assistant.

6. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your robot vacuum-mop.

6.1 Emptying the Dustbin

It is recommended to empty the dustbin after each cleaning cycle. Press the dustbin release button, pull out the dustbin, open its lid, and discard the collected debris. Clean the filter regularly by tapping it gently to remove dust or rinsing it with water (ensure it's completely dry before re-inserting).

6.2 Cleaning Brushes

Periodically remove the main brush and side brush to clear any tangled hair or debris. Use the provided cleaning tool to cut and remove hair from the main brush. Wipe the side brush clean.

6.3 Refilling/Cleaning Water Tank and Mop Pad

Refill the water tank as needed for mopping. After each mopping session, remove and clean the mop pad. It can be hand-washed or machine-washed. Allow it to air dry completely.

6.4 Sensor Cleaning

Wipe the sensors (cliff sensors, wall sensors, charging contacts) with a soft, dry cloth to ensure they remain free of dust and debris, which can affect navigation and charging.

7. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your MI Xiaomi Robot Vacuum-Mop 2i, refer to the following common problems and solutions:

• Robot not starting or charging: Ensure the charging dock is properly connected to power and the robot is correctly aligned with the charging contacts. Check for any debris on the charging contacts of both the robot and the dock.
• Poor cleaning performance: Empty the dustbin and clean the filter. Check if the main brush and side brush are tangled with hair or debris and clean them. Ensure the water tank is filled for mopping and the mop pad is clean.
• Robot getting stuck frequently: Clear obstacles from the cleaning path. Ensure the sensors are clean. The robot can cross obstacles up to 20mm; larger obstacles may cause it to get stuck.
• App connectivity issues: Ensure your Wi-Fi network is stable and the robot is within range. Restart the robot and your mobile device. Re-pair the robot with the app if necessary.
• Water not dispensing for mopping: Check if the water tank is properly installed and filled. Ensure the water outlet on the tank is not clogged. Clean the mop pad.
• Mapping issues (map not saving/always fresh start): This model (Vacuum-Mop 2i) does not support saving maps for future use. The map generated is for real-time cleaning progress only and resets after each cycle.
• Battery life insufficient: Ensure the robot is fully charged before starting a cleaning cycle. For larger areas, the robot may return to the dock to recharge mid-cycle and resume cleaning.
