3. Setup Instructions

  1. Unpacking: Carefully remove the money counter and all accessories from the packaging. Retain the original packaging for future storage or transport.
  2. Placement: Place the machine on a stable, flat, and dry surface, ensuring adequate ventilation around the unit. Avoid direct sunlight or areas with extreme temperatures.
  3. Power Connection: Connect the provided power cord to the power input port on the back of the machine, then plug the other end into a suitable electrical outlet.
  4. Initial Power On: Press the power button to turn on the machine. The 4.5-inch touch screen will illuminate.
  5. Language Selection: Follow the on-screen prompts to select your preferred operating language.
  6. Currency Setup: The machine supports 120 currencies. The default recognizable currencies are USD/EUR/GBP/CAD/MXN. For additional currency installation packages, please contact customer service.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Mixed Denomination Counting

The AL-931 features advanced mixed denomination counting. Simply place a stack of mixed banknotes into the hopper, and the machine will automatically identify each denomination and calculate the total sum.

  • Ensure banknotes are neatly stacked and free from excessive folds or tears.
  • Place the stack into the input hopper.
  • Press the START button. The machine will begin processing the notes.
  • The total count and individual denomination breakdown will be displayed on the touch screen.

4.2 Counterfeit Bill Detection

Equipped with 2CIS, UV, MG, IR, NT, and SN recognition technologies, the AL-931 provides bank-level counterfeit detection. If a suspicious note is detected, the machine will stop, and an alert will appear on the screen.

  • When a suspicious note is detected, remove it from the stacker or reject pocket.
  • Press START to resume counting the remaining notes.
  • Inspect the rejected note manually using additional security features if necessary.

4.3 Touch Screen Interface

The 4.5-inch touch screen provides intuitive control over all machine functions. Navigate through menus, select counting modes (e.g., ADD, BATCH), and view detailed counting reports directly on the display.

  • Use the touch screen to select different counting modes such as MDC (Mixed Denomination Counting), ADD (accumulative counting), and BATCH (counting a preset number of notes).
  • The CUR button allows you to switch between supported currencies.
  • The MENU button provides access to advanced settings and reports.
