Introduction

The ASUS RT-AX5400 Dual Band WiFi 6 Extendable Router provides compelling speed and reliable connectivity. This router is designed to enhance your networking experience and work seamlessly with your existing WiFi devices. It is also AiMesh compatible, allowing for the creation of a flexible and scalable whole-home mesh WiFi system.

Setup

1. Package Contents

Before you begin, ensure all items are present in the package:

• RT-AX5400 WiFi router
• RJ-45 cable
• Power adapter
• Warranty card
• Quick start guide

2. Physical Connection

Connect your router to the internet and power source. Ensure all antennas are securely attached and oriented for optimal signal coverage.

1. Connect the power adapter to the router's DCIN port and plug it into a power outlet.
2. Connect one end of the RJ-45 cable to your modem's LAN port and the other end to the router's WAN port.
3. For wired devices, connect them to any of the router's LAN 1-4 ports using Ethernet cables.
4. Press the Power Button to turn on the router.

3. Initial Configuration

Access the router's web interface or use the ASUS Router app for initial setup. Follow the on-screen instructions to configure your internet connection, Wi-Fi network name (SSID), and password.

• Cannot Access Router Settings:

• Factory Reset: If all else fails, you can perform a factory reset by pressing and holding the reset button on the back of the router for approximately 5-10 seconds until the power LED flashes. Warning: This will erase all your custom settings and return the router to its default configuration.
