Maintenance
Battery Replacement
The watch uses one product-specific battery. When the display dims or functions become erratic, the battery may need replacement. It is recommended to have the battery replaced by a qualified watch technician to ensure proper sealing and water resistance.
Water Resistance
This watch is water resistant to 330 feet (100 meters). This rating means it is suitable for showering, swimming, and snorkeling. Do not press any buttons while the watch is submerged or wet, as this can compromise the water resistance. Avoid exposure to hot water or steam, which can damage the seals.
Care and Cleaning
Clean your watch regularly with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials, which can damage the resin case and strap. Rinse the watch with fresh water after exposure to salt water or chlorine.
Troubleshooting
- Display is blank or dim: The battery may be low or depleted. Replace the battery.
- Buttons are unresponsive: Ensure the watch is not in a locked mode (if applicable, though this model does not feature a lock). If issues persist, a battery replacement or professional inspection may be required.
- Time is incorrect: Re-set the time and date following the instructions in the 'Setting Time and Date' section.
- Water inside the watch: Immediately take the watch to a qualified technician for inspection and repair to prevent further damage.
