4.4 Water Resistance Guidelines
Your Armitron Sport watch is water resistant to 165 feet (50 meters). This means it is suitable for short periods of recreational swimming, showering, and general water exposure. It is not suitable for diving, snorkeling, or high-impact water sports. Do not operate buttons while the watch is submerged in water.
5. Care and Maintenance
- Cleaning: Wipe the watch regularly with a soft, dry cloth. For stubborn dirt, a slightly damp cloth can be used, followed by drying. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
- Temperature: Avoid exposing the watch to extreme temperatures (hot or cold) for prolonged periods, as this can affect battery life and accuracy.
- Impact: While durable, avoid strong impacts or dropping the watch.
- Battery Replacement: The watch uses a product-specific battery. When the display dims or functions become erratic, it may be time for a battery replacement. It is recommended to have this done by a qualified watch technician to ensure water resistance is maintained.
