Maintenance

Water Resistance

The watch is water resistant to 50 meters (5 ATM). This means it is suitable for everyday use and can withstand splashes, rain, and brief immersion in water. It is not recommended for swimming, diving, or prolonged water exposure. Do not operate buttons while the watch is wet or submerged.

Battery Replacement

The watch is powered by a CR2016 lithium metal battery, designed for approximately 10 years of operation. When the display becomes dim or functions become erratic, the battery may need replacement. Battery replacement should be performed by a qualified watch technician to ensure proper sealing and water resistance.

Cleaning

Wipe the watch with a soft, dry cloth. For stubborn dirt, use a soft cloth dampened with water and a mild soap, then wipe dry. Avoid using chemical cleaners or solvents.

Troubleshooting

  • Display is blank or dim: The battery may be low or depleted. Refer to the "Battery Replacement" section.
  • Buttons are unresponsive: Ensure the watch is not in a frozen state. Try pressing all buttons firmly. If issues persist, a battery replacement might be necessary.
  • Time is inaccurate: Re-set the time according to the "Setting the Time and Date" instructions. If inaccuracy persists, the watch may require service.
  • Water inside the watch: Immediately cease use and seek professional service. Water intrusion can cause permanent damage.
