Package Contents
Upon opening your package, please verify that all components are present and undamaged. The standard package includes:

Installation Guide
The DONGFXK motorized roller shades offer flexible installation options, including no-drill methods for convenience.
1. Measuring Your Window
Accurate measurements are crucial for a proper fit. Please refer to the diagram below for guidance on how to measure for both inside and outside mount installations.

2. Mounting Options
Choose between an inside mount (within the window frame) or an outside mount (outside the window frame) based on your preference and window structure. For inside mount, the window frame depth must be at least 1.5 inches. For outside mount, consider adding 4 inches to the window width for optimal coverage.

3. No-Drill Installation Steps
For a hassle-free installation without drilling, follow these steps:
- Place the end of the shade unit with the no-drill device to the left side of the window frame.
- If there is a gap between the top rail and the window frame, use a silicone pad (included) to stick to the right side of the top rail, then push the right side of the smart blind into place.
- After installation, ensure you fasten the non-drill device securely.

4. Battery Installation/Replacement
The motorized shades are powered by 6 AA dry batteries. These are typically pre-installed. If replacement is needed, follow these steps:
- Roll up the blinds completely and lay the unit flat on a stable surface.
- Slide the protruding board aside to access the battery compartment.
- Pull out the battery box and replace the 6 AA dry batteries.
- Install the battery box back into the valance and secure the cover.

Operating Instructions
Your DONGFXK motorized roller shades can be controlled via remote control or integrated into a smart home system.
1. Remote Control Operation
The shades come with a single-channel remote control. Press the up arrow to raise the blinds, the down arrow to lower them, and the stop button to pause movement. An optional 15-channel remote control is available for managing multiple blinds simultaneously.

2. Smart Home Integration (Optional)

Maintenance
Cleaning
To clean your DONGFXK motorized roller shades, use a soft cloth or sponge with mild soap and water. Spot clean only. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive materials that could damage the fabric or motor components.

Troubleshooting

- Shade not moving smoothly: Verify that there are no obstructions in the window frame or along the shade's path. Check battery levels of the shade unit.

- Incomplete blackout: Ensure the shade is properly installed and covers the entire window opening. For inside mounts, minor light gaps may occur.
