4. Setup and Installation

Unpacking

Carefully remove all packaging materials. Inspect the appliance for any shipping damage. Keep packaging materials away from children.

Placement

  • Place the appliance on a firm, level surface.
  • Ensure adequate ventilation around the unit. Maintain at least 4 inches (10 cm) of space from walls and other appliances.
  • Avoid direct sunlight or heat sources.

Leveling

The appliance is equipped with adjustable legs and easy rolling wheels. Use the adjustable legs to ensure the unit is level, which is crucial for proper door sealing and efficient operation.

Convertible Modes

This appliance offers two operating modes:

  • Freezer Mode: Temperature range of 10°F ~ -11°F (-12°C ~ -24°C). Ideal for long-term storage of frozen foods.
  • Refrigerator Mode: Temperature range of 35°F ~ 46°F (2°C ~ 8°C). Suitable for fresh food and beverage storage.

To switch between modes, use the 'Freezer/Fridge' button on the control panel. Refer to the specific instructions on the control panel for activation.

Quick Freeze Mode

Activate Quick Freeze Mode for rapid cooling of newly added items. This helps to preserve food quality by quickly bringing items to freezing temperatures. The mode can be activated via the control panel.

Door Open Alert

The appliance features a Door Open Alert to notify you if the door has been left ajar, helping to prevent temperature fluctuations and energy waste.

Control Panel Lock

To prevent accidental changes to settings, the control panel automatically locks after 30 seconds of inactivity. Press and hold the lock button to unlock and adjust settings.
