3. Setup Guide

3.1 Connectivity Modes

The IROK FE98Pro keyboard supports three connectivity modes: USB-C wired, 2.4GHz wireless, and Bluetooth 5.0. Use the switch located on the back of the keyboard to select your desired mode.

• USB-C Wired Mode: Connect the provided USB-C cable from the keyboard to your computer. The keyboard will automatically switch to wired mode and begin charging.
• 2.4GHz Wireless Mode: Insert the 2.4GHz USB receiver into an available USB port on your computer. Slide the switch on the keyboard to '2.4G'. The keyboard should connect automatically.
• Bluetooth 5.0 Mode: Slide the switch on the keyboard to 'BT'. The keyboard supports three Bluetooth devices. To pair, press and hold FN + 1, FN + 2, or FN + 3 until the indicator light flashes rapidly. On your device, search for 'IROK FE98Pro' and connect.

3.2 Driver Installation

The IROK driver software allows for advanced customization of backlight effects and key functions. To install:

1. Connect the keyboard to your computer.
2. Press FN + ESC. This key combination will automatically open the driver download page in your web browser.
3. Follow the on-screen instructions to download and install the IROK driver.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Key Functions and Customization

The IROK FE98Pro features a full 98-key layout with anti-ghosting. Many keys have secondary functions accessible via the FN key.

For advanced key function customization, including macros and media controls, use the IROK Driver software. The software allows you to remap keys and create custom actions.

4.2 RGB Backlighting

The keyboard features 16.8 million true color RGB lighting effects. These can be customized through the IROK Driver software, offering various lighting modes and musical rhythm synchronization. You can also adjust brightness and speed using FN key combinations.

4.3 Ergonomic Design

The keyboard is designed with comfortable ergonomic stepped keycaps and two-part support feet, providing a comfortable typing experience. The keycaps are made of thick ABS material.

5. Maintenance

5.1 Cleaning

To clean your keyboard, disconnect it from your computer. Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe down the keycaps and chassis. For deeper cleaning, use the provided keycap puller to remove keycaps and clean underneath with compressed air or a small brush.

5.2 Hot-Swappable Switches

The IROK FE98Pro features hot-swappable mechanical switches, allowing for easy replacement without soldering. This enables customization of typing feel or replacement of faulty switches.

5.3 Battery Information

The keyboard is equipped with a 3800mAh battery, providing extended wireless usage. Recharge the keyboard using the USB-C cable. The keyboard can be used while charging.

6. Troubleshooting

• Keyboard not responding: Ensure the keyboard is charged and the connectivity switch is set to the correct mode (2.4G, BT, or wired). For Bluetooth, ensure it's paired correctly. Try reconnecting the USB-C cable or 2.4GHz receiver.
• Driver not installing/opening: Ensure your internet connection is stable when pressing FN+ESC for the first time. If issues persist, manually navigate to the IROK official website to download the driver.
• RGB backlight is dim or not working: Check the brightness settings using FN+F5/F6. Ensure the IROK Driver is installed and configured correctly. Some keycaps may not allow light to shine through as brightly as others.
• Windows key disabled or Mac mode active: If the Windows key is not working, press FN + F9 to toggle its lock status. If the keyboard behaves unexpectedly, press FN + M or FN + N to switch between Windows and Mac operating modes.
• Bluetooth pairing issues: Press and hold FN + 1/2/3 for 5 seconds to clear all Bluetooth pairing records, then attempt to re-pair.
