Connectivity Modes
The IROK FE87/104 Pro keyboard supports three connection methods: 2.4G wireless, Bluetooth, and wired USB-C.

2.4G Wireless Connection
- Locate the 2.4G USB receiver, typically stored in a compartment on the keyboard.
- Plug the USB receiver into an available USB port on your computer.
- Switch the keyboard's mode selector to the "2.4G" position.
- The keyboard should automatically connect to your computer.

Bluetooth Connection
The keyboard supports three Bluetooth channels for multi-device pairing.
- Switch the keyboard's mode selector to the "BT" position.
- To enter pairing mode, press and hold Fn + BT1 (or Fn + BT2, Fn + BT3) until the indicator light flashes rapidly.
- On your device (computer, tablet, smartphone), open Bluetooth settings and search for "IROK Keyboard" or similar.
- Select the keyboard to pair. The indicator light will become solid once connected.
- To switch between paired Bluetooth devices, press Fn + BT1/BT2/BT3.
Wired Connection
- Connect the provided USB Type-C cable to the keyboard's Type-C port.
- Connect the other end of the USB cable to an available USB port on your computer.
- The keyboard will automatically switch to wired mode and begin charging if necessary.

Operating Instructions
Function Key Combinations (Fn Key)
Pressing the Fn key simultaneously with other function keys activates secondary functions. Refer to the table below for common combinations:

Backlighting Control
The keyboard features customizable backlighting. Use the Fn key combinations to adjust lighting effects:
- Fn + F4: Toggle backlight On/Off.
- Fn + F5: Increase backlight brightness.
- Fn + F6: Decrease backlight brightness.
- Fn + F7: Slow down backlight animation speed.
- Fn + F8: Speed up backlight animation speed.

Maintenance
Cleaning the Keyboard
To maintain the keyboard's appearance and functionality, regularly clean it using a soft, dry cloth. For deeper cleaning, you may use a slightly damp cloth with a mild cleaning solution, ensuring no liquid enters the keyboard's internal components. Compressed air can be used to remove dust and debris from between keycaps.
Hot-Swappable Switches
The IROK FE87/104 Pro features hot-swappable mechanical switches, allowing for easy replacement or customization without soldering. This enables users to change switch types to suit their typing preference or replace faulty switches.

Replacing Switches
- Gently remove the keycap using a keycap puller.
- Use a switch puller to carefully grip the switch and pull it straight up to remove it from the PCB.
- Align the pins of the new switch with the holes on the PCB.
- Press the new switch firmly into place until it clicks. Ensure the pins are not bent.
- Reattach the keycap.

Troubleshooting
- Keyboard not responding:
- Ensure the keyboard is charged. Connect it via USB-C cable.
- Verify the connection mode (2.4G, Bluetooth, Wired) matches your setup.
- For 2.4G, ensure the USB receiver is properly inserted and the keyboard is in 2.4G mode.
- For Bluetooth, ensure the keyboard is paired and selected on your device. Try clearing Bluetooth pairing history (Fn + Ins) and re-pairing.
- Try connecting the keyboard via the wired USB-C cable to rule out wireless issues.
- Keys not registering or double-typing:
- This could indicate a faulty switch. Utilize the hot-swappable feature to replace the affected switch.
- Ensure the keycap is properly seated on the switch.
- Backlight not working or inconsistent:
- Ensure backlighting is enabled (Fn + F4).
- Adjust brightness using Fn + F5 and Fn + F6.
- Cycle through backlight modes with Fn + F12.
- Software not detecting keyboard:
- Ensure the keyboard is connected via wired USB-C.
- Verify you have the correct software version for your keyboard model.
- Reinstall the software if issues persist.
- Num Lock not working on Mac:
- This is a known compatibility limitation with macOS for this model. Num Lock functionality is confirmed for Windows 11.
- Restoring Factory Settings:
- To reset the keyboard to its default factory settings, press Fn + Del.
