Choose a Location: Select an outdoor location that receives direct sunlight for at least 6-8 hours daily to ensure the solar panel charges effectively. The location should also be suitable for the desired motion detection area.

Activate the Light: Locate the switch on the underside of the unit. Slide the switch to either "MOT" (Motion Sensor) or "CONT" (Continuous On) mode.

Mounting:

Operating Instructions

Your Feit Electric Solar Security Light features two operating modes:

MOT (Motion Sensor) Mode:
In this mode, the light will automatically turn on at full brightness when motion is detected within its range during nighttime hours. It will turn off after a period of no motion. The integrated dusk-to-dawn sensor ensures the light only activates when ambient light levels are low enough.
CONT (Continuous On) Mode:
In this mode, the light will turn on at dusk and remain continuously illuminated at a lower brightness level until dawn or until the battery is depleted. Motion detection is not active in this mode.

The solar panel charges the internal battery during the day. The performance of the light at night is directly dependent on the amount of sunlight received during the day.

Maintenance

Cleaning: Periodically wipe the solar panel and light surface with a soft, damp cloth to remove dust, dirt, or debris. This ensures optimal charging efficiency and light output. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
Battery: The internal battery is designed for long-term use. If the light's performance significantly degrades over time, ensure the solar panel is clean and receiving adequate sunlight. Battery replacement is not typically user-serviceable.

Troubleshooting
