1. Introduction

The YOCTOSUN LED Headband Magnifier UGV6-C is a versatile, hands-free magnifying device designed for detailed close-up work. It features interchangeable lenses and adjustable LED lighting to enhance visibility for various tasks such as crafts, jewelry making, watch repair, sewing, and other hobbies. This manual provides essential information for proper setup, operation, and maintenance of your magnifier.

2. Product Features

• Combined Lens Slot Design & More Choices of Magnification: The headset magnifier is equipped with 5 interchangeable lenses and one small round auxiliary lens, made of shatterproof crystal clear optivisor acrylic. These can be combined to achieve 23 different magnification levels from 1x to 14x.
• Rechargeable & Adjustable LED Lights: Features 3 detachable LED lights with adjustable illumination direction for precise lighting. The battery is rechargeable via USB-C and provides 6-8 hours of continuous light on a 4-hour charge.
• Comfortable & Adjustable Head Magnifier: The headband is wrapped with a soft sponge for comfort. Three knobs allow adjustment of lens height/angle and head size for a secure fit. The small round lens is 360° rotatable, and all optivisor lenses can be folded or rotated upwards when not in use.
• Versatile Usage: Ideal for close-up work such as cross stitch, painting, modeling, watch repairing, sewing, soldering, jewelry making, crafts, and other hobbies.

3. Setup and Assembly

3.1 Attaching/Changing Lenses

1. Identify the desired magnification lens from the provided set.
2. Gently slide the lens into the designated slots on the magnifier frame until it clicks securely into place.
3. To remove a lens, press the release button (if present) or gently slide it out.
4. The small round auxiliary lens can be flipped down for additional magnification or rotated out of the way.

3.2 Adjusting the Headband

1. Place the headband magnifier on your head.
2. Use the knob on the back side of the headband to adjust the tightness until it fits comfortably and securely. Pull the knob out to adjust, then push in to lock.
3. Use the two side knobs to adjust the height and angle of the lens assembly for optimal viewing.

3.3 Attaching Glasses Arms (Optional)

The headband magnifier can also be worn with traditional glasses arms. To switch, gently detach the headband strap and snap the glasses arms into the corresponding slots on the magnifier frame.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 LED Light Operation

1. Locate the power button on the top of the LED light unit.
2. Press the button once for low brightness.
3. Press the button a second time for high brightness.
4. Press the button a third time to turn off the LED lights.
5. The LED light unit can be angled up or down to direct illumination precisely onto your work area.

4.2 Lens Adjustment

The main lens assembly can be pivoted upwards when not needed, allowing you to view objects without magnification without removing the entire headset. The small round auxiliary lens can also be rotated 360° or flipped up/down as required.

6. Charging Instructions

The LED light unit is powered by a rechargeable Lithium Polymer battery. To charge the device:

1. Locate the USB-C charging port on the LED light unit.
2. Connect the provided USB-C cable to the charging port and the other end to a suitable USB power source (e.g., computer, wall adapter).
3. The LED light unit can be detached from the headband for easier charging.
4. A full charge takes approximately 4 hours and provides 6-8 hours of continuous LED light.

7. Maintenance

7.1 Cleaning Lenses

To maintain clear vision, regularly clean the acrylic lenses. Use the provided soft cleaning cloth to gently wipe away dust and smudges. Avoid using abrasive materials or harsh chemicals that could scratch or damage the lenses.

7.2 Storage

When not in use, store the headband magnifier and its accessories in the provided carrying case to protect them from dust, scratches, and impact.

8. Troubleshooting

• LED Lights Not Working: Ensure the battery is charged. Connect the USB-C cable and allow sufficient time for charging.
• Unclear Magnification: Verify that the correct lenses are installed and clean. Adjust the lens height and angle using the side knobs for optimal focus.
• Discomfort During Use: Adjust the headband tightness using the rear knob. Ensure the soft nose piece is positioned correctly to prevent pressure points.
