5. Setup and Installation
The Mini Spider Moving Head Light offers flexible installation options. Always ensure the fixture is securely mounted and that all connections are firm.
5.1 Mounting
The included bracket allows for various mounting configurations:
- Ground Placement: Place the unit on a stable, level surface.
- T-Pole/T-Truss Mounting: Attach the bracket to a T-pole or truss system using appropriate clamps (not included) and screws. Ensure the clamps are rated for the fixture's weight.
- Ceiling Mounting: Securely fasten the bracket to a ceiling structure using the provided screws or other suitable hardware. Verify the ceiling can support the fixture's weight.
Warning:
- Always use a safety cable when mounting the fixture overhead.
- Ensure the mounting location is free from vibrations and is not exposed to extreme temperatures.
5.2 Connections
After mounting, connect the necessary cables:
- Power Connection: Connect the power cable to the unit's power input and then to a grounded electrical outlet.
- DMX Connection (Optional): For DMX control, connect a DMX cable from your DMX controller's output to the unit's DMX IN port. If linking multiple units, connect from the first unit's DMX OUT to the next unit's DMX IN, and so on.

6. Operating Modes

- Auto Mode: The fixture runs through pre-programmed light shows automatically.
- Sound Activated Mode: The light effects respond to ambient sound or music detected by the built-in microphone.

6.1 DMX Control

7. Maintenance
