2. Important Safety Information

WARNING: Always store firearms unloaded and locked away from children and unauthorized users. Keep emergency keys in a secure location, separate from the safe and away from children.

• Secure Mounting: For optimal security and stability, it is crucial to bolt the gun safe to the floor or a wall. Failure to do so may result in the safe tipping over, especially when the door is open. Pre-drilled holes and anchor bolts are provided for this purpose.
• Anti-Theft System: The safe is equipped with an anti-theft system that triggers an audible alarm if an incorrect code is entered three times consecutively. This feature enhances security by alerting you to unauthorized access attempts.
• Emergency Access: In case of digital panel malfunction or forgotten code, use the provided emergency keys for access. Do not store emergency keys inside the safe.
• Battery Management: Ensure batteries are regularly checked and replaced to maintain digital panel functionality.

3. Setup and Installation

3.1 Unpacking

Carefully remove the gun safe from its packaging. Inspect the safe for any signs of damage. Retain all packaging materials until you are satisfied with the product.

3.2 Battery Installation

The digital panel requires batteries for operation. Locate the battery compartment on the digital panel. Insert the required batteries (typically AA, not included) ensuring correct polarity. Replace the cover securely.

3.3 Mounting the Safe

The safe is equipped with pre-drilled holes at the back and bottom for secure mounting. Use the provided anchor bolts to firmly secure the safe to a solid surface (e.g., concrete floor, wall studs). This prevents unauthorized removal and tipping.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Opening the Safe

The Karini 2-3 Gun Safe offers two primary methods for opening:

1. Digital Code:
   • Enter your 3-12 digit PIN on the smart numeric keypad.
   • Press the '#' key to confirm.
   • Turn the handle clockwise within 3 seconds to open the door.
2. Emergency Key:
   • Remove the cover from the emergency key slot on the digital panel.
   • Insert one of the two provided emergency keys and turn it.
   • Simultaneously turn the handle clockwise to open the door.

4.2 Setting/Changing Digital Code

Refer to the detailed instructions provided in the included instruction sheet for setting or changing your personal digital code. It is recommended to change the factory default code immediately upon setup.

4.3 Interior Organization

The safe features adjustable 4-slot rifle racks and top 5-slot pistol racks. These can be adjusted to accommodate various firearm lengths, including those with scopes. The door also includes a pistol pouch and two bullet organizers for efficient storage.

4.4 LED Interior Lighting

The safe contains LED lights that illuminate automatically when the door is opened, allowing for quick and easy access to contents even in low-light conditions.

5. Maintenance

• Cleaning: Wipe the exterior with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners.
• Battery Replacement: Replace batteries in the digital panel annually or when the low battery indicator appears to ensure continuous functionality.
• Door Hinges: Periodically check door hinges for smooth operation. Lubricate if necessary.
