Setup

1. Unboxing and Contents

2. Connecting the Controller

  1. Connect the supplied USB cable from the DJControl Inpulse 200 MK2 to an available USB port on your computer (Mac or PC).
  2. Connect your headphones to the headphone output jack on the front of the controller.

Operating Instructions

1. Overview of Controls

The DJControl Inpulse 200 MK2 features a standard DJ controller layout with two decks and a central mixer section. Familiarize yourself with the following key components:

  • Jog Wheels: Used for scratching, nudging, and navigating tracks.
  • Tempo Faders: Adjust the speed (BPM) of tracks.

2. Basic DJing Functions

  • Loading Tracks: Use the "LOAD" buttons to assign tracks from your software library to Deck 1 or Deck 2.
  • Playing/Pausing: Use the Play/Pause buttons (►/❚❚) located below the performance pads.
  • Cueing: Press the "CUE" button to set a temporary cue point or return to the beginning of the track.
  • Beatmatching with Beatmatch Guide:

    The Inpulse 200 MK2 features built-in light guides to assist with beatmatching. Lights below the jog wheels and next to the tempo faders will illuminate to indicate whether you need to speed up or slow down a track to match the BPM of the other track.

  • STEMS Feature:

    The STEMS feature allows you to isolate or remove instrumental and vocal parts of a track. Press the "STEMS" button above the performance pads to activate this mode. The pads will then control different stem elements (e.g., vocals, drums, bass, melody), enabling creative mixing possibilities.

Maintenance

1. Cleaning
