4. Product Overview

5. Setup Guide

5.1 Initial Charging

Before installation, fully charge the camera using the provided USB cable. Connect the USB cable to the camera's charging port and a 5V USB power adapter. The charging indicator light will show the charging status.

5.2 App Installation and Account Creation

1. Download the "CloudEdge" app from your smartphone's app store (iOS App Store or Google Play Store).
2. Open the CloudEdge app and register for a new account if you don't have one, or log in with your existing credentials.

5.3 Camera Pairing with App

1. Ensure your smartphone is connected to a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network.
2. In the CloudEdge app, tap the "+" icon to add a new device.
3. Follow the on-screen instructions to select your camera model and initiate the pairing process.
4. Power on the camera. The camera will enter pairing mode (indicated by a specific LED light pattern or voice prompt).
5. Scan the QR code displayed on your phone screen with the camera lens, or follow alternative pairing methods if prompted.
6. Once connected, name your camera and set its location.

5.4 Installation Location and Mounting

Choose a location with good Wi-Fi signal strength and ample sunlight exposure for the solar panel. The camera is designed for outdoor use.

1. Mark the drilling points on the wall using the mounting bracket as a template.
2. Drill holes and insert wall anchors if necessary.
3. Secure the mounting bracket to the wall with screws.
4. Attach the camera and solar panel to the mounting bracket. Adjust the solar panel angle to maximize sun exposure.
5. Connect the solar panel cable to the camera's charging port.

6. Operating Your Camera

6.1 Live View and Playback

Open the CloudEdge app and select your camera to access the live view. From here, you can:

• View real-time footage.
• Initiate two-way audio communication.
• Take screenshots or record video manually.
• Access recorded events from cloud storage or an inserted SD card.

6.2 Pan, Tilt, and Digital Zoom

Use the directional controls within the app's live view to remotely adjust the camera's viewing angle. The camera supports 355° horizontal and 120° vertical rotation. You can also pinch to zoom in on the live or recorded footage for 4X digital zoom.

6.3 Night Vision Modes

The camera offers two night vision modes:

• Color Night Vision: When motion is detected at night, the built-in spotlight can automatically turn on, providing full-color video.
• Infrared Night Vision: Standard black and white night vision using infrared LEDs.

You can configure the night vision settings in the app to suit your preferences.

6.4 Motion Detection and Alerts

The camera uses PIR motion detection to identify movement. When motion is detected, you will receive real-time alerts on your smartphone. You can also configure the camera to trigger a sound alarm and turn on the spotlight to deter intruders.

Advanced AI detection features (subscription may apply) can distinguish between pets, packages, and cars, reducing false alarms.

6.5 Storage Options

Recorded videos can be stored in two ways:

• Micro SD Card: Insert a Micro SD card (up to 128GB, not included) into the camera's SD card slot. The camera will record in a loop, overwriting the oldest footage when the card is full.
• Cloud Storage: Enjoy free 7-day loop cloud storage for recorded events. This means the video recorded on the eighth day will cover the video from the first day.

• Cleaning: Regularly wipe the camera lens and solar panel with a soft, damp cloth to ensure optimal performance. Do not use harsh chemicals.
• Battery Care: While solar-powered, ensure the solar panel receives adequate sunlight. In prolonged periods of low light or heavy usage, the camera's battery may require manual charging via the USB port.
• Firmware Updates: Check the CloudEdge app periodically for firmware updates to ensure your camera has the latest features and security enhancements.
