Replace batteries when the remote control's response becomes sluggish or stops working. Always replace both batteries at the same time with new AAA alkaline batteries. Do not mix old and new batteries, or different types of batteries.

Cleaning:

To clean the remote control, use a soft, dry cloth. Do not use liquid cleaners, sprays, or abrasive materials, as these can damage the remote's surface or internal components.

Storage:

If the remote control will not be used for an extended period, remove the batteries to prevent leakage, which can cause damage.

Troubleshooting

  • Remote is not working:
    • Check if the batteries are inserted correctly with the correct polarity (+/-).
    • Replace old batteries with new AAA alkaline batteries.
    • Ensure there are no obstructions between the remote control and the TV's infrared sensor.
    • Verify that the remote is pointed directly at the TV's IR sensor.
  • Limited range or intermittent response:
    • Ensure batteries are fresh.
    • Remove any objects that might be blocking the signal path.
    • The maximum effective range is approximately 10 meters (33 feet). Ensure you are within this range.
  • Certain buttons do not function:
    • This remote is designed to replicate the original remote's functions. If a specific function was not available on your original remote, it may not be available on this replacement.
