3. Setup and Installation

3.1. Filling the Oil Bottle

1. Open the front cover of the JCLOUD Smart Scent Air Machine.
2. Carefully remove the empty 850 ml oil bottle.
3. Fill the bottle with your preferred essential oil or fragrance blend. Ensure not to overfill.
4. Securely reinsert the filled bottle into its compartment.
5. Close the front cover.

3.2. HVAC System Connection (Optional)

For whole-home scenting, the JCLOUD Smart Scent Air Machine can be connected to your HVAC system. It is crucial to connect the diffuser to the supply air duct, which carries cooled or heated air into your living spaces. Do not connect to the return air duct.

1. Identify the supply air duct in your HVAC system.
2. Using the provided hose and clamp, securely connect the diffuser's output to a suitable opening in the supply air duct.
3. Ensure all connections are airtight to prevent scent leakage.

4.1. Smart Control via Mobile App

The JCLOUD Smart Scent Air Machine features advanced Bluetooth technology for convenient control via a mobile application. This allows for precise customization of your scent experience.

1. Download the official JCLOUD mobile application from your device's app store.
2. Enable Bluetooth on your mobile device and open the JCLOUD app.
3. Connect to your JCLOUD Smart Scent Air Machine via Bluetooth. The default password for the app is 8888.
4. Within the app, you can:
• Choose from 20 different scent strength levels.
• Create custom scent schedules based on time and day.
• Monitor the device status.

4.2. Manual Operation (Without App)

The machine can also operate without the app. In this mode, it will work for several seconds, then pause, and work again. This intermittent operation is normal and indicates the machine is functioning as intended, unlike traditional diffusers. You can use the LCD display and buttons on the device for basic settings.
